Hey, Chef Paul here 👋🏻….its been a minute so I thought I’d pop on with a little get to know me…

1. I have worked in kitchen’s for the last 21 years and started Laforet Catering almost 4 years ago, alongside my wife, Burgundy!

2. I love playing pickle ball- it became a quick obsession!

3. I love building & fixing things and doing any little projects I can get my hands on!

4. I am a big outdoors guy (hence the fire cooking 🔥 🌲)

5. I enjoy drawing & painting or anything where I can be creative!

6. I am a father to two amazing kids and I am grateful for them every single day.

Spectators are welcome as well for the show on Sunday, May 12 (Mother’s Day) - Glen Oro Farm will be open to the public that day. If you’re a guest staying with us, this is an awesome spectacle and you should definitely stick around to watch the sport of “Eventing” - each horse and rider team compete in three different equestrian disciplines throughout the day!

Our Story

Glen Oro Farm was first settled in 1841 by the Clarks and has a rich history in the community, and has been in Leslie Saila's family since 1967. Operating a first class horse farm and equestrian facility that hosts sanctioned Horse Trials and training events throughout the year, including recreational trail rides, lessons and more. Known for our breeding program as well as our fantastic riding in the fields and forests in and around the property, we are nestled in 200 acres of rolling fields and forests. Glen Oro is also a great home for those wishing to board their horse and enjoy the facilities, which include an indoor riding arena, dressage rings, showjumping area, and a cross-country course up to the Intermediate level.
