Pawsitive Pups Daycare & Training offers dogs a safe and fun place to play, learn, and grow. We also offer a socialization class and private training options.

Offering daycare & training to the dogs and their families of High River & surrounding communities. Pawsitive Pups Daycare provides a stimulating environment for your dogs to enjoy. Opening at 6:30am, we provide a full day of play paired with training, visits to the yard, equipment and toys. A short one to two hour nap allows dogs a bit of 'me' time, ensuring dogs take a break during their visit.

This time is also used to feed dogs with snacks or lunch and gives them an opportunity to eat and digest. Group Classes & Private Training are primarily taught by our founder, Brittany Wallace. A Certified Dog trainer and Behaviorist, she has worked with hundreds of dogs and families to help both understand and build a trusting relationship that fulfills both beings lives with a 'pawsitive' and rich union. Group classes (basic obedience, puppy training, shy dog) are structured to accommodate 4 to 6 dogs and run in 5 week sessions, once a week for one hour. We have set the standard for care in the Foothills and take pride in building trusting relationships with each of our clients and dogs, we know that trusting someone with your dog can be hard and we want you to know that they are treated with love and skill, by trained professionals that love each dog as their own. www.pawsitivepupsab.com

Today, we worked on some more cooperative care with these wonderful pups! They each are a differentt stages in the training/ getting comfortable. Some are pairing the tool with treats, others working on touching with the tool, and some are working on paw handling with no pressure of the tool. Then there are some who LOVE it, and its a bonding time while they get pampered ❤️

This week, we are starting our cooperative care week! What is this? Simple teaching our dogs that being handled is ok and learning to be comfortable with some grooming tools. It is SOOOO important to introduce tools slowly and at the pace they are comfortable with. Pairing it with lots of treats to help build that positive association with the tool. We are setting them up for life and dont want to damage their trust
