Pawsitive Pups Daycare & Training offers dogs a safe and fun place to play, learn, and grow. We also offer a socialization class and private training options.

Offering daycare & training to the dogs and their families of High River & surrounding communities. Pawsitive Pups Daycare provides a stimulating environment for your dogs to enjoy. Opening at 6:30am, we provide a full day of play paired with training, visits to the yard, equipment and toys. A short one to two hour nap allows dogs a bit of 'me' time, ensuring dogs take a break during their visit.

This time is also used to feed dogs with snacks or lunch and gives them an opportunity to eat and digest. Group Classes & Private Training are primarily taught by our founder, Brittany Wallace. A Certified Dog trainer and Behaviorist, she has worked with hundreds of dogs and families to help both understand and build a trusting relationship that fulfills both beings lives with a 'pawsitive' and rich union. Group classes (basic obedience, puppy training, shy dog) are structured to accommodate 4 to 6 dogs and run in 5 week sessions, once a week for one hour. How does it work? Sign your pup up on the sign up sheet at the front,
fill out a slip with your dogs information (so their Pawsitive Pup knows what they like and don't like)
We will pair dogs up and give you their info!

Then you go shopping for their friend! And someone else shops for them!! ( $30 Limit)

Just a friendly reminder, our morning drop offs are 630am- 930 am. Afternoon pickup/drop offs are AFTER 12pm. 12-130 for drop off and BEFORE 1 for pickup for our morning half day dogs.

Why is this important?
We have a FIRM morning drop off with 930 being the cut off.

▪︎ This is because it is very hard on the dogs to have late arriving dogs to be added to their group. As they are starting to settle in and participate in some activities we have planned for them and have gotten their first wiggles out. The late arrival gets everyone amped up again keeping the arousal high.

▪︎ It does not set your pup up for success, they being the late arrival is the new kid all of a sudden, as much as we work on doing a slow intro all of the dogs are excited to see them and all want to go and see. This can be stressful for your dog.

▪︎ we reserve the 10am for dogs whom are joining us for their first day! This scheduled so we have the extra team memeber to help. We want to make sure they are being set up from the start with an empty parking lot/Lobby for them to enter. The dogs have settled and had their first wiggles so we can see what moods they are in and set the new kid up to place in the proper group

▪︎ most important it is for safety of all! Once we have all the dogs in, we as in the trainers, stay in our groups with the dogs and work on activities, play time, dogs taking breaks, sharing ect. Us popping out to grab a dog means we are not in that group to help with these things.

After 12 is also important

We nap the dogs (those that are comfortable we NEVER force dogs into kennels) we are working hard at getting them all settled. Feeding Lunches for those who bring them, any braingames/ add ons left to be done,We also change all of the drinking waters for fresh water, do a cleanup from the morning to be prepared for the afternoon, clean all the mop for clean water to make sure everything is sanitized.
Coming in before that means we fall behind and the dogs get excited making it hard for them to settle.

We are starting our winter gear week! Getting these guys comfortable with some of those puffy coats, mitts (or being handled with mitt on), hats and all sorts of winter gear! This can be strange for our pups as it changes how we look move or even sound when walking with clunky boots or swishing snow pants!

Happy Monday!
Last we we had the pleasure of graduating our most recent Intermediate Class! These dogs pushed their limits and improved all of their skills immensely, especially their impulse control!

Congratulations! 🎓✨️

We will be scheduling our New Year classes ASAP! So keep your eyes peeled!
