For the love of guinea pigs rescue and sanctuary started after seeing so many piggies being re-homed

So it seems that we are going down that rabbit hole with our senior piggies, we're down 5 piggies. Chrystal, we knew was coming because of her ovarian cysts and everything else. Mister squeaks has passed ,We also lost frankie, we lost brittany and jolene over the last couple of days this really sucks. We still have a few seniors that are showing there age and it's heart breaking.

I am so very sorry everyone I have had to cancel the event. I dislocated my shoulder and I'm currently out of commission. Because of this, I will not be able to load cages, build cages and transport piggies to the event. We are scheduled again for october, hoping to see everyone there

I'm so sorry my wifi has been so iffy everytime I try and do I live it's not working. I have purchased a wifi booster in hopes it will work. If it doesn't then will have the internet company out to see what are options are.

Marshmallow update she is doing well and healed from her first surgery. We are now looking at booking her second surgery to finish removing the cysts in the abdomen. Our amazing vet team Coverdale Vet Hospital are working on the estimate. Once we have more info we will start raising funds.

Yesterday we took in 2 boys. 1 is 5 yrs old and his cage mate is 1. The senior boy has something going on with his eye. Previous owner said was treated with antibiotics but from past experience I know this is a tumor of sorts behind the eye. Keeping him comfortable with some pain meds and eye lubrication until we decided he no longer has quality of life.

Thursday we will do a live while we clean and change cages.

Yardsale was a great success we raised 308$ we have the funds to have the door installed. a generous person is looking into a door for the shelter. Stay tuned for installation.
