Did you know it's dangerous, even life threatening, to give your dog ice during a heat wave? If you are worried that your dog is over heating, have them stand in cold water. Cooling their paws will help cool their body over all. Feeding them ice will trick their body into thinking they are cold and will in turn cause them to retain heat.

Dog's are my passion. Small dogs, tall dogs, blockheads and itty bitties. From puppies to adult and senior dogs, I love them all. (I have 5 labs!) This passion has pushed me to go back to school to become a certified dog trainer. As I continue my courses into reactive and aggressive dogs, I am going to begin offering puppy and basic manner classes for teeneager and adult dogs, in May. I am so excited to meet you all and work with you and your dogs. Stay tuned for class announcements.
