🤪Fun times! 🐾 Stanley & Astro with their buddies Nanuk & Mishka
Astro found a singing buddy! 🤣🐺🎶
📦 I had to stop blowdrying Avery to grab a parcel from the Amazon guy and then they started singing
*edit - I am lucky to report that in ALL my years of grooming, I’ve experienced some howls here and there but never anything like this 😅 (thankfully)
☀️ Sunny days recovering from ankle surgery, are best spent teaching little Stanley the basics and that brushing feels good 🐾
*post edit* because I’ve known & groomed for most of you for many years now ♥️🐾
Back story, some of you may remember when I broke my ankle back in the summer of 2017. I was horse back riding and my not so trusty steed slammed on his breaks and I flewww off and hit the ground. I had a concussion and Badly broken ankle. I had surgery in Edmonton immediately afterwards. Since then I had been experiencing bad pain on and off. So, this surgery I just had last week was what you’d call corrective surgery I suppose? A specialist sliced in and had a look around and hopefully fixed what she deemed to be the source of my pain 🙏🏻
This is what I call a “dirty blow”! Sometimes it helps to use my high velocity blower on a dirty coat, pre bath. This can help to loosen coat as well as shampoo being able to do it’s job properly and more effectively. Unfortunately for me - this is a verrrrrrry dirty job! Dander, hair and dirt flys everywhere! 😝🌪🥽 😷 🎧
Little Titi was in for her first groom today, she’s celebrating her 1st bday this weekend 🥳
Willow is always up for some fun 😛
Even though they’re not actually physically playing with each other, I like when dogs can have a friendly interaction like this 🥰
It’s amazing what a different environment, a calm energy and no owners around can do for a dog! This is a video of my Tukk and Akira (who’s dog aggressive) playing. I sent this video to her owners and they couldn’t believe it! Said he’s the first dog she’s been around that she hasn’t tried to eat since they’ve had her! 🥰♥️🐾
A lot of dogs act scared or act as if like they don't like to go to the groomer. Not too many actually enjoy getting combed and picked at for the time that they're on the table. But everyone is so happy once they're cut and clean! Dogs don't rationalize...that's why they act this way! So nice when dogs are actually happy to come get groomed ☺️
