Haul from FF2023
We welcomed in many new fuzzy faces and a few old ones! Saltwater Rabbitrysent us back with miss Navy and brought PVR’s Apollo back! Our mini Rex co breeding with Hot Crossed Buns Rabbitry brought us a cute mini Rex buck. And the biggest addition was Lunar Moon’s English spot dispersal as well as our boys Edmund and PiP coming back. I thought it might be a good time to reintroduce the ES herd now that everyone is in the same place😅.
Pics below are labeled by name ha we are only missing Izzy, Leif and Tora!

As you can see below we added Netherland Dwarfs to the breed list! Meet miss Penelope Ryan’s new house rabbit and pride and joy from !❤️

Lastly but never forgoten my first and most favourite USA import Hidden Treasure AKA miss HT or Tee😂. This doe came too us from Darky Hollow Rabbitry & Caviary at only 12 weeks old she made the trip up from convention and many miles inbetween to Sask. She has been the perfect mix of sweet,sassy and funny all wrapped up in one! Her personality is so outstanding! Forever love my Tee❤️

🎁Who remembers Farm Fair 2023? November 9th- 11th.
Did you see our rabbits sporting their new show Carrier/Coop tags?! What a great show can’t wait for FF2024! Amazing wins by all PVR rabbits from ones in the barn to the ones that moved to greener pastures!😅 so happy to see my name on so many winners!
We had so many rabbits brought up to this year end show! We brought a bit of everything Dutch, Mini Rex, English spots and even took home a new breed all placed very well both days of the show even the sale rabbits!!!
It was a busy weekend of tattoos, laughs, new people and of course new rabbits! Anddd meeting up with so many amazing friends and breeders again!❤️
I’ll try to sum this up shortly but so much was going on! I’ll leave the new breed and additions to the next posts to save space but leaving a few hints behind!

😂The Old News Finally gets out for the memories! Wow it’s been a little while, and we’ve got lots of exciting things to catch you up on! As much as we missed our social audience it did give us more time to focus on the many tasks ahead and of course extra time for the rabbits and boy are we excited to say it’s sure paying off! Firstly one of our largest tasks to date was our Rabbitry move. Yes there has been some big changes and I’m so happy to have all the rabbits now under one roof!
We had started our move end of October but there’s always room for more so we ran out to alberta to pick up a few cages and some beautiful new mini Rex for our herd. Meet our new herd does Lil Miss, Panic and Candy!❤️

💕Update of Maple and Gypsys litters they are all out of the nest boxes and running around bugging mom! Looks like we got a black and a steel in Gypsy’s litter and still 4 blacks and one chocolate in Maples! Going to wait a bit longer to check genders.
They are situated at the new yard in a heated shop so they are safe and warm for this winter!🥰

🧡🦇Happy belated Halloween!🦇🧡
Hope everyone enjoyed all their candy and fun costumes! Sadly we couldn’t put on our annual costume contest or get too dressed up this year, some how all our pet costumes and decorations for the Rabbitry have not made the move yet! It’s been a huge challenge to move our entire Rabbitry and farm to its new location but we are slowly getting there with just the sheep and horses left and also a few buns left to come with cages and supplies!
We’ve been busy with the move and preparing for our next rabbit show but I will try and get the new updates out as soon as I can!!😊

🍁 Two of our fall litters have arrived!! 🍁
I was very excited to see our girl Maple has had 5 kits and Gypsy has had 3 kits!
Super excited to see what these Gypsy and Kronos babies will turn out like, coming from the prodigy son of Titan! Gypsys daughter from earlier this year PVR’s Crystal Ball is a gorgeous mix between her and Titan so I have high hopes for this pairing to be better yet!😍

🌤️Tonight’s sunset was so bright and beautiful it made a perfect opportunity to show off some other animals here at PVR and farm. Love all our babies big and small!🥰

⚡️🌪️PVR’s Vortex 🌪️⚡️ We finally have settled on a name for our Mini Rex show prospect! Loved watching her grow out she’s been quite stricking all along! Can’t wait till show time with this goofy cute girly!🥰

Did you think that was all? Nope! We added new Dutch too!! I cannot thank Saltwater Rabbitry enough for sharing these beautiful girls with me!! And one buck! Angus also came back with us will be looking forward to adding his lines in and hopefully getting more stock like him with that BIG head😍.
I will have to make up some more posts later on about them but goodness these does are to die for! It’s been a long wait to get these ladies but I’m so happy with how they have grown out and I have so many big plans for them being added to my Rabbitry! Not only did I add a chocolate and black doe from Saltwater’s stock but she has also suprised me with two more does that she had inported from River Rock Rabbitry out of Montana USA! I could of cried I was so shocked by the surprise thank goodness for extra cage space😉. I could not be more happy to have the friends (more like family) that I have and rabbits I have in this life! You guys always keep me going strong and our little community so tight knit on our one goal to better our rabbit breeds!😍 Love ya Whitney🥰 hehe I sooo owe you for this one!!!

Big news ! The new spots have arrived!!!!😍 Huge thanks to my partner Ashley over at Turning Willow Rabbitry. It has been a long wait but I’m am so happy to introduce to you our 5 newest Junior ESpot additions!!
Firstly we have our three lilac girls: Blizzard, Sunny, and our sport doe Gale!🩷🩷🩷
Then we had also welcomed in two more boys to the program meet Fog and our second standard buck Frost!🩵🩵
Can’t wait to finally get working with this breed next spring! Both our Rabbitrys will be bringing standard spot babies to the shows, so come check out this rare breed hitting the show tables this winter! They are gorgeous and so loved already Thank you!!!! Ashley

New boy on the block!!😍
Meet Pip our new chocolate English spot buck! It has taken a community that’s for sure! Big Thanks to Brianna HD's Rabbitry & Farm for giving me this amazing opportunity to add your boy to our E spot herd! Oh and Can’t forget our amazing transport crew that helped with layovers and to get him down to me from GP!
Thank you: Svelte Rabbitry and Jumping Jacks Rabbitry for being so kind to have him at your homes for a few days! And big thanks to Whitney at Saltwater Rabbitry for looking after him till our meet up!
I just wouldn’t be possible with out you ladies thank you!!
I’ve got big plans for this boy next year as we will be starting our spot program over with new does in the spring! It’s been a challenge working with such a rare breed with few numbers and old stock but with my partners help we have been able to start rebuilding! I have made the big decision to send Pip home with Turning Willow Rabbitry.! There Pip and our other chocolate boy Edmond will be meeting with their new ladies hopefully making lots of cute babys for us over the fall-spring! Here at PVR we have been slim on ES does till now, so I’m happy to get some use out of these boys and hopefully they will get sent back with some chocolate or black daughters to show in the spring!! Looking forward to this co breeding with PVR and TWR!!!

Why do Blue Torts look soo cute!!!🥺 I might have to keep this one back 😝.
Well no new babys after coming home for the weekend so let’s re introduce Beladarus Nightingale and PVR’s cedars litter we got 3 left a blue buck and two tort girls one black and one blue! Finnaly some nicer markings so might be worth keeping more back!👀🤞

Last months litters! Better get these posted before we get some more new arival in a few days!!
Some very long awaited babies in this group with Hazels first litter this year🥺! Also an exciting match with Teal and Kronos! High hopes for some of Teal’s babies! Already looking amazing at just a few weeks old can’t wait till they hit the table!!😍 Plus more Nightingale and Cedar babies cause her daughters were soooo nice last litter!❤️🎉

Big news on our Mini Rex side of the barn! We added this very special doe from HD's Rabbitry & Farm and are happy to introduce to you lil miss Dance! Excited to add her in can’t wait to see what she will produce in the future!
Her arival wouldn’t be possible with out the help of my lovely friend Heather Payne who generously picked her up for me and looked after her for a bit while I recovered!
I absolutely love being appart of the rabbit community so many people always willing to lend a helping hand!🩷🥰

👋🏻Hello again everyone I apologize for the unusual inactivity lately as some of my close family/friends know I have been involved in a horse accident that led me to being rushed to the hospital at the end of July. I have thankfully made a full recovery and I am glad to be back doing what I love!
However all that bed rest has lead me to realize how thin I have stretched my self on the farm here so I will be making a lot of hard decisions in the near future to try and downsize my work load to a more comfortable living. That means we will be moving and partially dispersing out sheep, Mini rex, some Dutch and horses/ponies.
If you know of anyone looking please feel free to reach out or send them my way. And stay tuned as I get out the exciting Rabbitry updates I’ve been waiting so long to share with you all!
(P.S photos below are straight after the hospital I had my lovely boyfriend bring me to the barn and give me my bunny snuggles I so much missed even tho it was very hard to move it’s the only place I wanted to be❤️!)

More of our litters finally posted!
Been waiting a long time to get these all in! We have 7 successful Dutch litter in the nest boxes of course by now they are a bit too big for the nest box and running around but will have to update soon! And two mini Rex litters at our Rabbitry!
Maple, Almond, Margret, Eden and Tralee are all first time moms and have all done great!
(Almonds two remaining babies had to be moved in with Maples litter due to unforeseen circumstances, but they are doing great now Maple’s doing amazing raising her own and her foster babies!)
Margret and Mando have our first generation of blues X chocolate breeding for lilacs and to our luck we had all black babies!😅 Will have to try their kits for a generation 2🤣.
Plus there is a lot of champion’s kits in this round of babies so hoping for some striking juniors for November shows!😍 Extremely excited to watch them grow up!🥰

☀️SARBA’s: Suns Out Buns Out Show June 3rd 2023.☀️
Back to last month’s show I finally will get to posting the few pictures I have of that fun weekend!
Was nice to get away to visit a few southern breeder friends and gets some more comments on the show string! So happy to see all the Dutch love this weekend! It got a few more honourable mentions again at the BIS awards getting soo close! One of these days will be our day!🤞
In our three shows Titan won two more BOB and BOVs. And Kronos beating him for one BOB and BOV. Then for the girls Eden won 2 BOS and BOV, and Tralee got a BOS and BOSV! And our lil Captain got all these pretty BOV ribbons for being the cutest choc!😂 Bonus! We got to play with our friends Netherland dwarf baby and he’s just so cute I just had to add him in!🥰

🎉Meet Ponyo’s new and unique litter! So happy to have a nest full of color she’s given us a black, blue and a Blue Tort! This is our first time producing a Blue tort! Which I do have to say that blue tort has truly made me fall in love with the color I almost like it more that the black torts🙈.
We also pretty much have every tort variation also now😅 black, chocolate and blue torts how fun! One day I’ll have to make up a separate post showing and explaining the difference in colors as you don’t see these non showable colors very often unless you have a tort gene in your buns!
I love watching this litter grow they have been so friendly and curious since day one, they will definitely be some nice brood stock to be one day!🥰

🎉We have our first successful tort litter of the year!!🎉
Nightingale has given us two torts that we might be able to finally take to a show! Along with a blue and blacks! There is so many colors and babies in this litter i was surprised she did so well being a first time mom again!

🎉Meet our newest addition: 🎉
Saltwater‘s Captian, we picked him up while at the Wild Rose Classic in May and have been loving his goofy and sweet personality ever since. ❤️ We will happily be adding him to our chocolate program in the next few months and show him for the next little bit as well! Huge thank you to Saltwater Rabbitry for sending this guy home with me❤️ we hope your enjoying Apollo as much as we do with Cap!
