Let’s talk no shows! The amount of no shows and last minute cancellations has made me question if offering private appointments is something I can keep doing. I simply can’t move on to the next dog, my shop is empty & income is lost.
I had to reduce my hours earlier this year due to my health. Trying to accommodate too many clients by adding to already full days, left me from 1 to 2 & now 3 dozen trigger point injections monthly. Please, if you can’t make your appointment, please reach out. It’s so easy to switch you to another day in your scheduled week. I am now unable to switch dogs to already full weeks.
My new policy will require dogs to wait until their next scheduled appointment unless I get a cancellation. Your standing appointments for the year will remain the same. There will also be a fee for no shows & possible prepayment for appointments if it’s happening multiple times. Payments are due the day of services. If you have been reminded for etransfers more than the occasional time, please pay in cash at the time of groom.
