Zuri is a name of Swahili origin, meaning "beautiful". And he is gorgeous! It's so fun to do a poodle cut once in a while. I can hear his inside voice sarcastically saying "Really?!" as I take a picture of his puffy, just dried, poodle head. "Too cute not to share" I replied! This goofy little man is clearly a "Mama's Boy" as he lounged in my arms with his feet in the air after his haircut.

Georgia is an absolutely beautiful old soul! Our first born "emotional support" kitty is Fritz. He's the one who will hide and only come out when it's quiet. It takes a special pup like Georgia for him to come and snuggle with. Make no mistake though...Georgia is a little sassy pants! I had the honor of teaching her how to behave on the grooming table and she is perfect! Outside...well... she's more interested in adventure and keeping her people entertained with happy, goofy antics. Everyone.... Meet Brick! Teddy is approaching his first birthday, his first Christmas, and this was his first haircut! He is a confident, happy little man who was a complete pleasure to visit with. Because of the approaching cold weather...I wanted to just tidy up the fly-aways while keeping his main style long. We decided to hand scissor his haircut and he was soooo patient with me. What a lovely boy!

Nutmeg is officially ready for the holiday! As a 13 year old lady Nutmeg had a bit of anxiety when her Dad left but after a warm soothing mineral soak and a soft baby cloth, blueberry facial rub she settled. By photo time, Nutmeg was channeling her inner Mrs. Claus. Ho ho ho!

Pretty Penny P. is still a baby and I LOVE a "blank slate" when it comes to starting a pup for a lifetime of grooming. There is no fear or bad habits, only praise, curiosity, and fun trust exercises. Miss Millie is such a love. Flynn the support kitty LOVES Millie! Flynn will follow Millie around the house and do his best to get her attention! He hates to be ignored. Munchkin Loki had me rolling on the floor with laughter while taking Christmas pictures. There was no stepping gently over props! Trees tipped over, nutcrackers being stepped on, stars being "nose poked", tablecloth being pushed over the edge...chaos! This 15-week-old Tibetan Terrier was a tiny tornado on the table...he reminds me of my youngest son... irresistibly and exhaustingly perfect!

This gentle soul named Rosie (a.k.a. Rosie Posie) has a lovely teenage girl at home who takes such good care of her! She asked me intelligent questions and even listened to my explanations😉. I was very impressed with her devotion to Rosie and as she was leaving...she kissed Rosie's head and said "I love you". We all know how hard it is to leave our babies with strangers and I saw the courage of a confident young lady! Rosie is very lucky to have such a loving family!

Bruce & Clark flew in for a Christmas tidy up, leaving poor Lois (their feline) at home. Flynn (Bakers Acres resident "support" kitty) seemed to sense Clark missing his kitty...so sat with him during his makeover. Both these super heroes were so cute during their photo that I couldn't decide which picture to use...I whistled and they both tilted their head...first left, then right...in unison. Bruce's smile was the deciding factor in each final product. No wonder Lois loved both these dashing boys!
