**October 21, 2024:** The last day before Bos and Piper settled into their big winter sleep.
**Activity Update:** The last three weeks they have been active every day. This week, we've started feeding them . Playing seems to be more of a priority than sleeping.
**๐ป Weight Check:**
- **Bos:** Weighed in at 664 lbs, down by 139 lbs.
- **Piper:** Weighed in at 308 lbs, down by 81 lbs.
Typically, our bears lose about 100 lbs during their winter sleep.

Little Aspen is thriving and having the time of his life! ๐ He's been enjoying some thrilling playdates with his pals, Keukeuh and Velcro. ๐ฆ๐ฆ Watching these adorable buddies romp around together is pure joy ๐ค
We are beyond thrilled to welcome Aspen, the newest member of our family.๐ฅฐ This precious mule deer fawn was orphaned on September 21, 2024โa rare and special arrival late in the season. Originally cared for at a rehabilitation center in Calgary, it was decided that Aspen could not be released back into the wild. We are deeply honored to be his forever home. ๐ฆ๐

We are thrilled to share the successful introduction of two of our beloved raccoons, Rakin and Keukeuh! ๐ฆโค๏ธ
Rakin, who is now 11.5 years old, and little Keukeuh, just 4 months old, both came to us as orphans from the wild. Their journey has been incredible, and we couldnโt be more proud of their progress and resilience.
Thank you to everyone who supports our mission to rescue and provide a forever home for these amazing creatures. Your kindness and generosity make stories like Rakin and Keukeuhโs possible. ๐ฟโจ
