Happy 4 weeks old Babies!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It’s unbelievable how adorable these little ones are! We are so pleased with this litter💜
They have started on Baby cereal and within a couple days they will be eating mashed up puppy food. They are still nursing from Mom until she decides they don’t need anymore of her milk.
They are also starting to play with toys and interacting with each other.
We still have some available for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ homes. Contact us for more details

We are starting to setup the play area for these little ones. This is where they will interact with each other and explore some new toys and new sounds. It’s all about interaction here at Frenchies of the North. We start introducing new things to a litter right away. It makes for a well adjusted puppy.

Happy 2 weeks old beautiful babies💙💗💙💗💙
We are so extremely excited to say all puppies are growing, gaining weight, eyes are open now and they are starting to figure out what their legs can do lol. These little ones are ahead of schedule!

We are celebrating their 1 week old Birthday today!💙💗💙💗💙
Just can’t believe how time is flying by with these little ones.
All are doing extremely well and Mom Charlotte has settled in nicely being a mom.
In the next couple of weeks it will be a busy time for these little ones with their eyes opening, starting to notice each other, ears will open more so they can hear all the new sounds around them and they will start to experiment walking with their little legs. I love this stage because they are so cute to watch!♥️

Frenchies of the North are very pleased to officially introduce Charlotte & Bruce’s litter to the world. What a amazing litter this is! Such beautiful colours ♥️
They were born June 28th and officially 1 day old today!!!! All strong babies and Charlotte is being the perfect 1st time Mom watching over them.

Frenchies of the North would like to welcome 5 little babies to the world!
Charlotte had 3 boys and 2 girls this morning and all healthy and doing great!
The colours of this litter are amazing!!!
We have Blue Merle, Black Merle, a very interesting Silver/Blue Merl and a Solid Chocolate (like Daddy Bruce)
I will update with new pics in a few days.

We headed to the vets this morning to have Charlotte’s baby scan done and we are very pleased to announce that 5 possibly 6 babies were seen!!
Very pleased that her first litter will be a nice easy size for her to look after ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Our Charlotte is getting bigger everyday!
She is now 6 weeks along and starting to feel the weight as these babies grow. They will at this point of the pregnancy grow very fast!
We are keeping an eye on Charlotte and making her as comfortable as possible as we start to get into the heat of the Summer.
On June 20th Charlotte will have her “Baby scan” so it will give us an idea of how many she is having.
Preparation is on its way very soon to setup the whelping room for our Princess Charlotte💜
As soon as we have the scan done we will announce how many babies are growing in there!
Again her wait list is now filled up for 6 spots but if she is having more then we will let everyone know. Thanks for following us♥️

We have now completed the DNA and Health testing for all of our Frenchies.
Leo being the last done had great results for future pairings.
He is….
C3 clear*
6 Panel clear*
Colour trait shows he will produce Red babies!!
We are extremely excited with these results!!

Our Charlotte is in week 4 of her pregnancy. Her appetite has increased, energy level is less and she has started to develop a baby bump.
In the next couple of weeks the babies will grow very quickly and so will her belly.
Due date is Canada Day (July 1st)
The waiting list is full with 6 spots spoken for. If she has more then 6 babies then those will be available. She will go in to have her scan around the 7th week to confirm how many she is having.

Let’s talk about feeding a Raw Diet…..

Here at Frenchies of the North all of our Frenchies are on a Raw Diet.
We also start our puppies on Raw (4 weeks) as soon as they start needing more then Mom’s milk.
We know NOT everyone can feed Raw but it is by far the most beneficial for our fur babies.
With this said, in over the 2.5 years we have had Frenchies we don’t use commercial Flea & Tick Prevention products. Honestly we haven’t seen any fleas or ticks on our dogs ever!
If you feel feeding Raw is something you want to do then reach out to us for more information or direction and we would be Happy to help 😊

We want to talk about “Cherry Eye”
First of all it is NOT HEREDITARY. It is NOT painful for the dog but if not looked at can become infected by dust and dirt getting into the area.
This can happen to Flat faced dogs or dogs with big bulging eyes….such as (Pugs,French Bulldogs, Bull dogs etc…)
In some cases Cherry eye is mild where it can be massaged back in place. Mild cases it may not come out again or it may but only a few times with again massaging it back into place. In the case of our Charlotte she had a very severe case and had to have 3 surgeries to correct the problem. The first surgery didn’t hold as well as the second but the 3rd surgery did. It is now been 5 months since her surgery and she looks so beautiful and feels so much better.

At Frenchies of the North this is our weekly ritual for cleaning the folds, ears and face on our Frenchies.
This is what I recommend to all our New Frenchie families to start when they get their little ones from us.
We start with a warm (water) wet wash cloth to wash the face and get in the folds. Then dry the face/folds really good.
Once dried apply (only if needed in case there are sores in the folds) the Cold compressed Coconut Oil to the insid of the folds with a Qtip.
Now for the ears...I use this ear cleaner and it is wonderful and works great. I use makeup pads with the cleaner soaked on it to clean the rare. DO NOT USE IN THE EAR CANAL!
Once you get into a routine your Baby Frenchie will get use to it and Thankyou for the loving care you are giving them♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Next week we will discuss The Natural Flea/Tick and Mosquito Repellent I have been using for years and it works!!!

Lunch today was a success with the Raw Chicken that was added. Love the sounds they make when eating 😂😂

3 1/2 weeks old and enjoying their FIRST taste of food! We started pee pad training just a mere few days ago and they are getting the hang of it! Good job Babies ♥️♥️♥️
