Breeding healthy & long-lived, natural Dobermans with excellent form-to-function conformation and amazing temperaments! We are super excited about her!

Tracy’s father had Dobermans & German Shepherds when she was very young but then he got solely into German Shepherds. Tracy had her own German Shepherd but there was just something about the Doberman that she couldn’t shake. Tracy & Alan finally got their first Doberman in 2010 and they were hooked on the breed! We did lose Parker, our first Doberman to a freak accident just before her 4th birthda

y – just heartbreaking. After our hearts healed, we were fortunate to acquire her ½ brother, Roux, who needed to be rehomed. We were lucky to have him in our lives until he was 12 years old. He helped raise and taught 3 other Doberman pups we bought – Quinn, Reeva, and Karisma (aka Baby K). Karisma is our foundation breeding bitch. We spent a long time looking for our foundation girl, believing that the dam is most important for the foundation line. We wanted a well conformed bitch, suitable for the specials ring, with awesome health markers and a superior temperament. It took us 6 years to find her and Karisma has checked all the boxes for us. She is the only breeding dog in Canada with her dam's bloodlines. There will be more information on the page about our breeding philosophy; why we don’t crop even though we love the look of a cropped eared Doberman; and all about the health, titles, training, and escapades of Karisma and our other Dobermans.

The puppies were given carrots for teething when they were younger.

Spencer still loves carrots, but also apple, sweet peppers and most recently asparagus.

One advantage to owning a commercial kennel is I can offer my puppy buyers boarding services.

Rizz came here for a sleepover yesterday, and today was reunited with her brother.

It was a bittersweet day as our ‘Sassy Pants’ had her last time on the front porch, last walk in the shelter belt, last play time with her brother, and last time being with her Mom.

We delivered her to her new home this afternoon.

Congrats Joel Darkoh! He decided to name her after her Mom. She is Karizma, Rizz for short.

Bonding began weeks ago and they are enamoured with each other!

Here is Black Girl (Sassy Pants) first Cardboard Chaos. She did super good too. I’ll make it a bit more challenging next time.

I set up a light version of Cardboard Chaos for Black Boy & Black Girl’s first time. It is a confidence building game. Here is Black Boy. No lack of confidence here! Thanks Lisa for your help!

Here is Bentley playing tug-a-war with his pack mate, Aspen. Gosh, they are too freaking cute!

Octopus survived this 4-way tug-a-war this morning!

This Black Girl (Brown Collar), who we call ‘Sassy Pants’, sees agility in her future! She will get on, up, or over anything, just like her Mama! I managed to a get a video of her leaping from the couch to the table to the other couch - such a brave girl!

New adventures for the Deputies today! Cedo, one of our cats, was in the shelter belt this afternoon and he put up with all of them licking, sniffing, and pawing him.

They are getting comfortable with getting their nails done with a dremel. So proud of these pups!

Tug-a-war!

The puppies love the jungle gym! Thank you Sharon for letting me borrow it.

Graduation Day! The ‘deputies’ moved out of the whelping box into their whelping area. It is complete with a crate for sleeping, a play area, and a potty area.
