The Bow River Retriever crew just arrived in North Bay Ontario for the 2024 Canadian National.
The Boys are #10 Otis, #40 Grit, #50 Billy, and #68 Bronco.
The Girls are #59 Molly, #1 Roca, #20 Quiz, #32 Ice.
Thank You to Joe Bannon and Dave Thompson for the use of their great training grounds for pre-national training. Our training group was Laura Danforth, Joe Bannon and Jim Ling.

Despite Covid-19 challenges, Bow River Retrievers had a very successful 2020!
Team Bow River accomplished:
• 31 Open finishes with 21placings, 6 of which were wins for a total of 60 points
• #1 and #2 Open Field Trial Retrievers in Canada, Roy and Pebbles
• 17 Qualifying finishes, acquiring 32 points from 13 placings, 4 of which were wins making 3 QAA retrievers (Ice, Bronco and Grit) and earning 2 QFTR titles (Bronco and Grit)
• #1 Qualifying Field Trial Retriever in Canada, Grit
• 12 Senior Hunt passes contributing to 3 SH titles (Flare, Bella and Brite)
• 2 WCI titles (Ticket and Gunnar)
2020 Highlights include:
• Bronco’s debut in the Open as a 3 year old; 4 finishes including a win
• Rocky Mountain Sporting Dog Club – Open 1st Pebbles, 2nd Roy and 3rd Cache
• Upper Island Retriever Club – Open 1st Roy, 3rd Pebbles, 4th Katy and a CM to Bronco
• BC Labrador Retriever Club - Open 1st Roy and 2nd Pebbles
• Alberta Retrievers Club Association with Qualifying 1st Grit, 2nd Ice, 3rd Roca, 4th Bronco and RCM to Rogue

Pebbles’ kids had a great weekend at ARCA field trial!

Grit won the Qual, Ice second own by Alice Menczel, Roca third own by Dee Parsons and Bronco fourth.

Then Pebbles place second in Open 1 and Bronco won Open 2. We are very proud of Pebbles and her babies and their owners.
