The Kahnawake Animal Control Services is open 7 days a week.

Our primary tasks include the following:
-Provide information and support to the community (domestic and wildlife)
-Issue Warnings/Statement of Offences
-Follow up on all calls (loose animals, complaints, bites and wildlife)
-Investigate calls of possible neglect/abuse
-Caring for all animals in our facility
-Transportation of animals to the proper care facilities or for relocation
-Assist in the

removal of deceased animals
-Assist community members with re-homing animals
-Patrols the community throughout the day

SERVICES
-Vaccination Clinics (Spring & Fall)
-Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Program/Clinics (twice a month)
-Microchipping Clinic (minimum once a year)
-Lost and Found
-Live trap Rentals
-Private Cremation

🐶🐾 Share the Food Event 🐾🐶

Kahnawake Animal Control has received a generous donation of dog food and treats. We wish to assist dog owners by giving away bags of food.
Today at our office from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
Community members only please, on a first come, first serve basis. There will be a limit of (1) bag per household and two (2) bags for homes with two (2) or more dogs.

Meet Ludo, a male St.Bernard X Bernese Mountain dog mix. Ludo is approximately 11 months old, has his first round of shots but is not neutered yet. Ludo is still a pup who needs someone who has the space, time, attention and love to teach him manners to be the best boy he can be. Ludo is house trained, good with people but is not recommended with smaller children because of his size. He gets along well with other dogs, but it is unknown how he is with cats.

Meet Junior, a male, medium size mix breed, approximately 2-3 years old. Junior came to us as stray and was never reclaimed. He is house trained and loves his walks. Junior is good with other dog but will need a slow introduction to see if they are compatible. It is unknown how he is with cats and a home with children 8+ would be ideal, as he has lots of energy.

*Junior is not yet neutered, but can be put on our Spay and Neuter Clinic waiting list.

Meet Kozzy,

Kozzy is a 10 month old husky mix, Kozzy loves people, but because of his high energy it is recommended that he be in a home with children 12+. Kozzy is not neutered, and not vaccinated, but can be put on our waiting list for our Spay and Neuter Clinic. He is house trained, walks well on a leash, is good with dogs but it is unknown how he is with cats.

Update : Fin the puppy has gone home. Chewy making friends with the puppy

Our good boys, Oakley and Chewy… playing together for the first time. They seem to get along well. Both are looking for loving forever homes.

Prevention for fleas, 5 types of ticks, heartworm and gastrointestinal worms is easy with Simparica Trio. One chewable pill, once a month.
