Last week fun at daycare.

With nasty temps again today, we had even more time inside and since shredding was completed yesterday, we rotated the dogs into the living room 2 at a time for lovely play sessions. The rest would wait or play in the mudroom which is quite roomy or get crated with a chew stick.

2 dogs kept asking for help to clear their paws when we were outside briefly so we helped and then returned to the warmth. Gladly.

Cleaning up dog p**p is a constant job in a daycare setting. Normally I go out with the dogs and clean up immediately to avoid stepping in it. Them not me. Haha. Sometimes I miss some.

Yesterday the younger dogs, Callie and Sunny, were enjoying frozen p**p. OMG NO!!! Today, before any dog was allowed out, I suited up and left the dogs inside to go and find all the p**psicles, much to their dismay. When they did find something I missed, their super noses and all, I quickly shook the treat container and said "trade you". Suckers. Works every time. Haha. All in all, it was a good day. Anybody else have a p**psicle eating pup?

Brrrr!!! It's pretty cold outside so we are just doing short play sessions and then back in the warm house and the dogs are not resisting coming inside. Right now they are working on my shredding and doing a great job. Thank you happy shredders!

Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I've posted anything because Facebook's algorithm didn't like my humor and put my personal account in jail and that in turn locked me out of my business page because they are connected. So, I'm back and just want to wish everyone a happy holiday season with lots of puppy kisses and snuggles. Here are some photos over the past month or so with more to come.

Frenchie fun-day! Jack is here visiting and flirting with the big dogs. He took a shiner to Mika the lab and at first she wanted nothing to do with him, but later changed her mind. He's a fun guy who loves to play.

Penny has been sharing our home for the past 20 days while her family has been away. She is a 6 month old Schnoodle and what a treat she has been. She is the perfect playmate for Callie, gives the best kisses and snuggles and has a fun sense of humor. I'm not sure who's going to miss you most, Callie or me.

Portrait day. Look at these gorgeous faces. There's Penny, ziva, Kush, Maverick, Callie, and Tor and Lego. We discovered today that Maverick enjoys chasing the water hose. Lol so fun. I'll share pictures soon.

Yesterday the smoke was so thick we did short bursts of play outside and then inside for some quiet time. Topl's filled with tasty peanut butter, moist kibble, and sardines along with collagen chews kept the dogs pretty happy. We also assigned shredding duties and most took their job seriously. Haha. Good job pups!

We added a safety gate inside the perimeter fence about 3 weeks ago, built by Oresund Contracting and I just love the added security. It gives me peace of mind to visibly see the gate from my back door knowing it's always closed and the dogs are safe inside the yard. Thank you gentlemen for doing another excellent job for my pups/daycare dogs/boarding clients. We ALL LOVE this new addition. Wandering Paws Kamloops

UPDATED: Neutered/medium to high energy. Cooper is a 2 year old springer spaniel/hound mix located in Kamloops, looking for his forever home. His current foster care doesn't have room for a 2nd big dog but stepped in to remove him from an undesirable situation. Cooper has been exposed to cats and is mostly good but will give chase if the opportunity arises.

He is good with other dogs, well behaved, house trained, gentle, loves people, no sign of resource guarding, and walks nicely on leash. Cooper would do well in a home that would work with his separation anxiety as he howls when left alone but is quiet if he has another dog for company. Cooper comes with food, bed and toys. Just want to give a shout out to Alyssa Eagleton of Wandering Paws Kamloops for the brilliant job of creating her own company and training others to work along side of her. Alyssa brought years of experience as a professional dog walker to the area when she settled in Kamloops and we're all better for it. Well done Alyssa and team!
