Regular Veterinarian Exams are Essential to your pets health!
Do you know how often you should be taking your dog in for a routine vet exam?
Once your puppy has completed their puppy vaccinations & boosters the recommendation is for a yearly vet exam. However if you notice something abnormal you should book an appointment with you vet sooner than later, as things can deteriorate quickly.
Did you know that once a dog reaches the age of 7, on average, they are considered a senior!?! Senior dogs require a little extra attention when it comes to their health as things change rapidly and catching problems quickly is essential to their health & recovery. The recommendation is to have a routine vet exam every 6 months once your dogs reaches their senior years, routine blood work can also help catch problems before you notice symptoms.
