Like any good neighbour, BC is supporting the wildfire response efforts in California. They've asked us to send a senior management team and we're also working to send ground crews to assist with ongoing efforts. Local firefighters have been doing everything they can to bring these devastating fires under control, but conditions remain challenging.

People in BC know what it's like to face wildfires. California has helped us when we needed it most. Now, it's our turn to give back. Thank you to everyone at the BC Wildfire Service for the work that you do, at home and abroad.
