Such a fun lake day last week I couldn’t not post! Bear the Newfie is a new addition and is fitting in so well with the pack. We’ve also added the duo of Ruby and Rachel who are slowly coming out of their shells! Every week we see more and more swimming and I’m looking forward to our hot summer days where the dogs will refuse to leave the water.
Look familiar? It’s another lake day at our favourite lake!
This week we were happy to have Tucker join us to match Scout’s endless energy. We tried a life jacket on Scout to try to encourage her to use those back legs when swimming. She instead thought we were trying to prevent her from swimming and wouldn’t go all the way in! She’ll just have to learn by watching others for now.
Hope even found a patch of snow to roll in just to mess up her groom she had just the day before.
Overall a fantastic day in the books!
First Lake day of the season and lots of photos to share! We love visiting this quiet little fishing dock at Stake Lake during the warmer months to let the dogs jump off and walk along the shore.
Hope and Casey really show their great swimming skills during the summer. They are fantastic swimmers. Scout isn't too far behind them, but Roscoe, Nala, and Karat just aren't meant for that life. However, if you need a stick chewed, they've got you covered! Looking forward to more weekly Lake Days to come!
Went for a gorgeous hike this past week up to a lookout at Mt. Sunrise! The dogs really enjoyed running up and down the hills after eachother. Would definitely reccomend this hike for a nice picnic!
Happy tails, tongues, and trails out in Batchelor Heights today with the group led by Jordan. After the walk was done and everyone was rehydrated, they headed over to the airport to give Kelsa a warm welcome back to Kamloops!
Celebrated Roscoes 8th Birthday today with some of his best pals! Had lots of fun running through the forest and chewing sticks (two of Roscoes favourite things). Here’s to another year of shenanigans 🩷🐶

Spring appears to be here and we’re having so much fun in the sun! Just have to watch out for ticks, cacti and mud!

This heavy snow and frigid cold has made for some great walks with the gang! Brad has now joined our walking group to help out occasionally and the pups love him! These pictures are from a walk last week that was so much fun. Looking forward to seeing more happy pups in snow this winter 🩷❄️
Great Lake Day on Tuesday at McConnell lake! Was a bit brisk so we didn’t see any new friends on trail but the pups were happy amongst them selves! Jordan and I got some very expressive faces in some photos. Check them out!
A great walk yesterday evening with the pups! Nala has shown us she now trusts and loves us lots! So much so we now get to enjoy her awesome hugs 🩷 Xena was zooming around as always, Lucy and Roscoe staying glued to our sides. Such a great group to walk with
A visit to the Farmers Market with Roscoe, Kitty and Frank. Lots of people stopped to say hi to these fabulous seniors! Frank stopped quite a few times at foods stands to see if he could get a taste of whatever they were making. Finished up the outing with some ice cream from DQ!
Summer is over and the cold weather is coming in. This may be one of our last lake days, but that means snow is on the horizon! The pups love jumping through the snow almost as much as swimming. It also keeps my car cleaner!
Also, we have now added a big new addition to our group, Nala! She’s staying on a long lead for now until she trusts us enough to stay close. Looking forward to our future adventures with this sweet girl!

A great afternoon walk at the lookout in Westsyde! I’ve never been to this spot and Jordan has been meaning to bring me up here. It was a beautiful view and the pups had a blast. We’ll definitely return here for dogwalks in the future!
After a hiatus over May where Kelsa was away for field school and a vacation with her friends, we now have all hands on deck again! Its been a great triumphant return with 2 lake days and dogsitting the fabulous Bo this week.
Today, we got to meet up with our old friend Chip, who introduced us to Bleeker Lake and added our new friend Pepper for her first outing. The pack had so much fun chasing each other through the water and forest. Even Roscoe went in the water and had a nice dip. Molly managed to tag along too, despite being recently spayed. We ended off with a bath and a couple pup cups for the good boys.
We’re so excited to have Pepper in our pack! Can’t wait for more lake days like this over the summer ☀️🐶🩷
It’s time for Sidney’s next adventure. Today was our last walk with this pretty girl as her and Charlotte will be moving to Montana. Sidney always brought energy to the group and loved everyone. Whether it was rainy, 20 below or sweltering, Sidney kept the same positive attitude. Sidney loves to jump high for fetch, and go exploring for the best smells. She always kept us on her toes with her little disappearing act, but we were always happy to see her little cheeky grin coming back. I’m sure she’ll love her new home, but if you ever come back to visit Sidney, you’re always welcome back to our pack 🩷
Meadow came back for a visit this easter weekend! Roscoe was happy to have a friend to chase sticks and hike with for a couple days. Until next time Meadow! 🐶❤️
Adventuring new trails with the Wednesday crew! We had some extra time available and we used it to explore some trails I’ve had my eye on. I’m so lucky to have all this so close to home. Even after our 2 hour steep and sunny hike, we reached the bottom for a rest and the pups still had energy to play. They definitely should sleep soundly tonight! 😄
Last night we bid adieu to our fave lab duo Lenny & Lucy. They are the most loving pair you could think of. Especially at 7:00am just as you’re waking up. They put the love in lovebug, because you will be loved, whether you want it or not. Thankful to have these two in our lives and can’t wait till next time!! ❤️❤️
Our idea of a long romantic walk on the beach includes 8 energetic pups! a special guest, Koda, joined us today and got everyone running. It made for a nice quiet drive home 😊
Warmest walk of the season thus far at 16°C! We did the Ranger Bob loop at the Dallas/Barnhartville Nature park. Soon enough we’ll be back to being able to go for a swim at our favourite lakes 😄
