Fresh air and exercise are just the beginning when it comes to the benefits your dog will reap from dog walking excursions with Posh Pets Kamloops. Socialization and good old fashioned fun will contribute to a happier, calmer, more responsive dog at home. Walks three to four times a week in group packs of a maximum of four dogs, are recommended to give your dog the needed amount of exercise, parti

cularly if your dog is young and high energy. We also offer private walks if you think your dog works best on their own, rather than a group setting. We don't just walk dogs, we are there when you can't be. From feeding pets, p*e breaks, watering your plants, scooping cat litter and of course lots of cuddles for your beloved pet. You can work and travel with an eased mind knowing your pets are in the hands of a professional dog walker. Our staff is committed to the principles of safety, reliability and being trustworthy. We know that your furry friend is a member of your family, that's why we make safety a priority by being bonded, licensed and insured. Before we walk, we talk. Before your dogs first walk with us we offer a free consultation. This is important for your dog to get to know us and we can answer any questions you may have. In order to ensure that all dogs on group excursions have a safe and fun time, we ask that all dogs must:
-Exhibit positive social behaviors with other dogs and people
-Have proof of up to date vaccinations
-Have a basic collar (no choke chains)
-Have a valid license on their collar

Here’s my favourite big girl Apple. When Apple was a puppy she was hit by a car which led to a fear of cars, and then it became worse from there. She would be triggered by any vehicle, she would nip her mom or anyone close by. After a few weeks of work with Apple and some positive reinforcement we can all see a big difference. No more trying to catch cars or barking at them and less barking at most triggers, still working on other dogs. She’s such a big sweet heart. So happy to see such great progress.

We had the pleasure of walking Emmy while her parents visited Kamloops for a wedding. Emmy enjoyed her treats and her evening stroll downtown while her parents were out. We do hotel pick ups and drop offs too! Short notice welcome!
