Those who travel with your dog - heads up, heading to the USA is going to take more planning starting August 1/2024. There are rules for all dogs and in addition, specific rules for Canada (and other low rabies risk countries). You will need to plan ahead to ensure your dog meets the requirements and that you have necessary (endorsed) paperwork in hand.

Starting on August 1, 2024, dogs entering or returning to the United States must meet new, specific requirements depending on where they have been in the 6 months before entering the U.S. and where they received their rabies vaccines (if required).

We love October not only for the fall colours and fun of Halloween, but also because it marks the celebration of RVT Month across Canada. Registered Veterinary Technicians have dedicated their education and career to the veterinary industry, and are an invaluable part of the team. They fill fill a number of roles such as anesthesia, radiology, patient care, inventory, surgical planning, client educators, laboratory technicians, phlebotomist, dental hygienist and many more ! RVT’s require completion of an intensive 2 yr course program, pay license dues and fill CE requirements annually. We couldn’t be more grateful for this talented profession, and our amazing team at Valleyview! Thank you Sarah, Kym, Tara and Hilary !

All of Us at Valleyview Veterinary Clinic have come together to support the estimated 27,700 women and 260 men diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

We are participating and fundraising, as the VALLEYVIEW VET'S PURRFECTLY PAWSOME PACK, for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023, because we believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. And we want to support all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, including our family and friends.

With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. Together, we can create a future without breast cancer.
