We have some really great news!
Our little Jade's adoption is pending!!
We met a lovely couple yesterday, and she truly took to them. Fingers crossed everything works out and she will have a happy furever home ❤️❤️

This is heart breaking.
We need to do better.
We need breeding to STOP.
Importing dogs where there is no space to bring them is mind blowing.
We need better laws to protect dogs from humans.

This was a huge organization, their closure speaks volumes to the crisis.

PLEASE, adopt don't shop.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We have come to the realization that it's time to make some changes. Our personnel have changed, and circumstances surrounding Rescue have changed. COVID had a huge impact on the Rescue industry, leaving more dogs needing homes than we have ever seen before. Additionally, hundreds of dogs are imported into Canada monthly, flooding the system and diluting vital resources. Finding fosters has become increasingly challenging, and the number of owners wanting to surrender their dogs is overwhelming. We no longer feel like we're making an impact, and lack the manpower to continue to fight the battle.

Over the last 11 years, we've had the privilege of finding homes for countless bully breed and other four-legged companions in need. Unfortunately, we are now in a position where we are unable to continue in this way and must close down the rescue part of our operation. It's with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of Loveabull Rescue Society.

While we are no longer focussing on rescue, our commitment to animal welfare and our community lives on. Through our 'Spread The Love' project, we will continue to support marginalized pet owners in the Lower Mainland and throughout BC, with food, supplies, and resources. Our hopes are that with this initiative, there will be less chance of animals being surrendered or rehomed. We are excited to further develop this outreach project.

The team at Loveabull want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us: our volunteers, veterinary clinics, rescue partners, pet food suppliers, sponsors, donors, and especially our fosters and adopters. Your kindness and generosity have made the difference in the lives of so many dogs, and for that, we are forever grateful.

For our Loveabull adopter family, please know that we are still here as a resource for you, as long as you need us. We stand by our motto: "Once a Loveabull dog, always a Loveabull dog."

Lastly, we thank our followers for your support over the years. Without you, we would not have been able to rehome the hundreds of dogs that found their way into our care. Thank you for being a part of the Loveabull journey.

Hey folks! So far in this fostering experience I have been trying to cover our own costs to take some of the pressure off the overwhelmed shelters and rescues. That being said there are some items we could use if anyone is willing to donate.

Items in need:
Medium to large kennels
Blue Buffalo puppy food
Medium to large dog beds
Any sort of toy

Anything at all is greatly appreciated.

These beautiful boys have had a rough start. Despite their rough start these big goof balls have nothing but love to give!
Their foster momma has been putting in the work with these two. Teaching them what love and safety is all about. Working on some leash skills and some basic training.
Approximately 3 years of age and neutered. Available for adoption through Paws it Forward Dog Rescue.

Out and about with our girl Honey!

This is Jade!
Our second adorable baby girl! Like her sister she is also smitten with our girls. Definitely the more rowdy of the two, she loves to play and isn't afraid to go after the big dogs 😂, luckily for her we have some patient big dogs around here.
This girl has sooooo much personality, hopefully whoever adopts her will keep me updated on what kind of personality she develops as she grows.
She has beautiful brindle colouring, but differing from her sister her fur is a little bit longer and a bit more of a fluffy feel.
We will also be introducing her to our kittens and chickens soon. Also picking up on commands quickly and starting to pick up in her name.

This is Micah!
Since Honey was so easy to add into our home, we decided to make it a challenge with not one puppy but two 😂 (the fact my partner hasn't left me is a true testament of his love for me).
What can I say, other than who doesn't love an adorable little puppy. Despite their looks their momma was actually a husky/shepherd which would leave me to guess their father was some sort of mastiff or cross of.
Micah is the more quiet and reserved of the 2 puppies. Her fur is true to a mastiff breed and is short and silky. Her dark face frames her big sweet eyes.
She is absolutely in love with the girls. We will be working at introducing them to our cats and chickens soon! She is very smart - already has "sit" down pat. She is also catching on to her name, so if you don't think it fits her you better come scoop her up quick!

Honey Bear! 🐻🍯🐝
This sweet little girl ended up in Angels care with her 2 sisters. Nicknamed the "junkyard dogs" the three dogs were left living out in a junkyard. When rescued all three had had litters but unfortunately none of the puppies were recovered.
She came to us a pancake dog, afraid of her own reflection (literally found her frozen in fear after seeing her reflection in the sliding door on her first night). She has blossomed so much since coming home with us! Honey now has an excitement to meet new people, eager to gently jump up to give you kisses.
Approximately less then a year she is about 50 plbs, and short in stature. My guess to mix would be healer/husky/rottweiler. She is great with children and other dogs. She is learning basic commands quickly. Surprisingly, she even came to us house trained. Her biggest flaw would be her ability to escape. She can very easily jump fences and would need a very secure yard. She would do amazing with a K9 companion or an individual who is willing to really dedicate time and patience for her.

Our family has made a choice to open our home to foster dogs in search of their forever home. Our hope is to take in dogs in need and teach them a little bit about life in a loving home.
That part is easy, finding the perfect home is the hard part - that's where you come in 😉. I am hoping a page like this can help spot light these dogs and give a platform to learn a little about each dog in our care.
This page will also post dogs from fellow foster homes, but only ones we know and are acquainted with. Occasionally we will also share individuals who are in desperate situations and trying to find placement for their pets.
