๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿพ On the 11th Day of Christmas, Piper said to meโ€ฆ ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ„

๐Ÿ’Š๐Ÿ”Œ Medications from suitcases and electrical cords are not safe for us of left unsupervised

Holiday guests often bring medications that can fall from suitcases, purses, or nightstands. Even one pill can cause serious illness or organ failure in pets.
Electrical cords from lights and devices are also tempting to chew, leading to mouth burns, electrocution, or fires.

Please keep luggage zipped, medications secured, and cords covered or out of reach.
๐Ÿพโœจ If ingestion or chewing is suspected, contact your veterinarian immediately.

On the 10th Day of Christmas, Timone said to meโ€ฆ ๐ŸŽ„

โœจ Donโ€™t let your pets eat the ornaments from the tree, glass ,salt dough etcโœจ

Salt dough ornaments may look festive (and smell tempting ๐Ÿ‘€), but they contain very high levels of salt, which can cause salt toxicity in dogs if chewed or eaten.

โš ๏ธ Salt toxicity can lead to:
โ€ข Vomiting & diarrhea
โ€ข Excessive thirst & urination
โ€ข Lethargy or tremors
โ€ข Seizures in severe cases

๐Ÿšจ Another hidden danger:
Small ornaments, hooks, and broken pieces can be swallowed and may cause gastrointestinal blockages, requiring emergency veterinary care or surgery.

๐Ÿพ Pet Safety Tip:
Hang ornaments out of reach, avoid small or breakable decorations, and opt for pet-safe dรฉcor to keep your holiday merry and safe.

Because the best gift is a healthy, happy pet โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ„

๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿพ On the 9th Day of Christmas, Kiera said to meโ€ฆ ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ„

๐Ÿน๐Ÿฌ Spiked drinks and sugar-free treats may seem festive and fun,
but they can make me very sick โ€” so please share none.

Alcohol can cause vomiting, low blood sugar, trouble breathing, and coma.
Xylitol, found in many sugar-free syrups and sweeteners, can lead to dangerous hypoglycemia, seizures, and liver failure in dogs.

Keep holiday beverages and sweeteners safely out of reach.
๐Ÿพโœจ If exposure is suspected, contact your veterinarian immediately.

๐Ÿ“ฃ 4 more days till Christmas!!!

๐ŸŽ„ On the 8th Day of Christmas, Remy said to meโ€ฆ ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ„

๐Ÿง„๐Ÿง… Onions, garlic, and holiday leftovers may seem nice, but they can end up hurting my blood cells and my tummy.

Many festive foods contain onions, garlic, leeks, or chives, which damage red blood cells in pets. Rich leftovers like gravy, turkey skin, and fatty scraps can also cause painful pancreatitis.

Please keep plates out of reach and remind guests not to share.
๐Ÿพโœจ If ingestion is suspected, contact your veterinarian.

๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿพ On the 7th day of Christmas, Biggie said to meโ€ฆ ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ„

โ€œHoliday scents may smell sweet, but they can be toxic to me!โ€

โš ๏ธ Please be cautious with:
โ€ข Scented candles
โ€ข Essential oils & diffusers
โ€ข Wax melts & potpourri
โ€ข Incense and room sprays

Many holiday fragrances (like pine, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and clove) can cause respiratory irritation, drooling, vomiting, or worseโ€”especially for our feline friends.

โœจ Keep the holidays merry, bright, and pet-safe by choosing unscented options and good ventilation.

Because a healthy pet is the best gift of all ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ

๐ŸŽถ On the 6th day of Christmas, Maggie and Monte said to meโ€ฆ ๐ŸŽถ
Watch out for the de-icer on sidewalks โ€” it can really hurt your toesies!

โ„๏ธ Many ice melts and de-icers can cause paw irritation, burns, and tummy upset if licked.
๐Ÿพ Wipe paws after walks, use pet-safe ice melt when possible, put paw wax on prior to walks and consider booties for extra protection.

Letโ€™s keep those paws safe all winter long! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•

๐ŸŽ„โœจ On the 5th Day of Christmas, Lulu said to meโ€ฆ โœจ๐ŸŽ„

๐Ÿพ โ€œWatch out for tinsel and the water from the tree!โ€ ๐Ÿพ

Shiny tinsel may look fun to play with, but if swallowed it can cause serious intestinal problems for curious kitties. And that tempting tree water? It can contain fertilizers, preservatives, or bacteria that may upset your petโ€™s tummy or worse.

๐ŸŽ Holiday safety tip:
โœ”๏ธ Skip the tinsel
โœ”๏ธ Cover or block access to tree water
โœ”๏ธ Keep festive dรฉcor pet-friendly

Because the only thing Lulu wants under the tree is cozy naps and safe snuggles ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿฑ๐ŸŽ„

๐ŸŽ„โœจ On the 4th Day of Christmas, Kelso Said to Meโ€ฆ โœจ๐ŸŽ„

๐Ÿž Uncooked Bread Dough Is a No-Go! ๐Ÿž

Rising bread dough may smell delicious, but it can be dangerous for petsโ€”especially dogs. When eaten, raw dough can continue to rise in the warm stomach, causing painful bloating, vomiting, and even life-threatening stomach expansion.

Even more concerning, fermenting dough produces alcohol, which can lead to alcohol poisoning in pets. Signs may include lethargy, disorientation, vomiting, or trouble breathing.

๐Ÿพ Holiday Safety Tip:
Keep raw dough well out of reach and always supervise curious paws in the kitchen!

๐ŸŽ„โ„๏ธ On the 3rd Day of Christmas, Jada said to meโ€ฆ โ„๏ธ๐ŸŽ„

๐ŸŽถ Careful with snow globes and fake snow, because hazardous they can be!๐ŸŽถ

Snow globes may look magical, but some contain antifreeze, which is extremely toxic if broken and licked. โ„๏ธ
Fake snow and flocking sprays can also be harmful if inhaled or ingested, causing stomach upset or more serious illness.

Keep these decorations safely out of reach to keep your holidays merry and your pets safe ๐Ÿพโœจ
