🐾 Meet Max! 🧡🤍🖤

Max wanted to pop in and remind everyone that Riverside Small Animal Hospital will be closed on Wednesday,September 30th, for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

We take this day to honour the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, their families, and Indigenous communities. We encourage everyone to take time to reflect, learn, and recognize the lasting impacts of residential schools.

We will resume our regular business hours on Wednesday, October 1st.

From all of us at Riverside, we wish you a meaningful day of reflection. 🧡

🐾💙 Community, Compassion and Teamwork!!💙🐾

We were so happy to host and help support an incredible Low-Income Vaccine Day, coordinated by Four Paws Food Bank Foundation!!!

Thanks to the generosity and hard work of so many, pets in our community received important preventative care, including vaccines, tick & flea treatment, and deworming. 🐶🐱

A huge THANK YOU to:

🐾 Four Paws Food Bank Foundation for coordinating this amazing day and making it possible
💙 Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Canada for generously supplying vaccines, tick & flea prevention, and dewormer.
🙌 Our AMAZING team of volunteers from Four Paws and our very own Riverside team who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make the day a success.

It truly takes a community to make a difference, and we are so proud to have been part of such a meaningful day.🥰

We’ll be taking a little long-weekend break and will resume regular hours Tuesday, September 8th.

Wishing all our wonderful clients and their furry family members a safe, relaxing & tail-wagging Happy Labour Day Weekend! 🇨🇦
