PAWesome Kids Camp – Summer 2024 👫
We are excited to share our PAWesome Kids Camp is back for Summer 2024! Camp will run for 3 week-long sessions between 9am-4pm each day. Participants can choose from the following sessions:
Session A: July 8- 12, 2024 (limited spots)
Session B: July 22-26, 2024 (spots available)
Session C: August 19-23, 2024 (limited spots)
Our camp programming offers participants a chance to learn about Humane Education in a fun and interactive way. Each day, participants spend time getting to know the animals in our care, creating crafts and participating in animal themed activities.

Meet Franklin!

This little guy has a big personality. Franklin's love for people knows no bounds - a social butterfly who loves making new friends to play with.

Franklin may be able to get along with a dog that can respect his need for personal space. Although he's small in stature, his voice can be big, so he's likely not the best fit for an apartment. He can also get pretty rowdy when he gets really excited, so he's ideally looking for a home with either just adults or older children.

NITRO - ADOPTED

Hi! I am Nitro and I am pretty much the best puppy you will ever meet. I am yet again another pup that was dumped off at the shelter for unknown reasons. My foster loves me. She says I am perfect and that is rare to find in a 12 week old puppy. I have great obedience skills and am so easily trainable. I am a Shepherd x Husky mixed with who knows, maybe Lab? I am a boy. I love everyone after a moment of hesitation but after I get to know you we will be best friends.

I am playful with other dogs and I love meeting new friends. I make friends easily because I am just pretty chill until it's time to play. I would be fine as an only dog but would also be fine having siblings and of course friends. I am fine with cats as long as they are puppy savvy of course. I like to try and play with them. I am fine with kids but of course I am a puppy so I would like kids who are ok with puppy play and can keep up with me.

I am a perfect boy in my crate and I sleep in there when I need to be home alone. However because I am changing homes I might be a little stressed and make some noise the first couple of nights. I am doing extremely great with my house training and as long as you get me into a bit of a schedule I will not have accidents! I travel well in the car but for safety reasons I should be seatbelted in or I should ride in a crate. I am a little professional on my leash and enjoy going on some small adventures. I would make a great buddy to go on adventures with.

BUTTERSCOTCH - ADOPTED

My name is Butterscotch, but you can call me Butters. I am a 4 month old Husky guy who is looking for an active, husky savvy family to welcome me into their home. I am learning all the things that a boy like me should know and am very very smart. Except when I stick my head into the co****le board and can’t figure out how to get it out… Sometimes I do silly stuff like that but it makes my foster mom laugh so it should make you laugh too.

I am good with other dogs and am learning my manners around them, I would actually love to have another friend in my new home to continue learning from. I am learning that kitties are not always cool with me trying to play with them and that kids fingers and toes are not meant to be nibbled on. I do well with doing my business outside but am still a baby and will have a few accidents while I am getting adjusted to my new family's routine. I am also learning the crate stuff as well.

I like to play with toys so hopefully my new family will make sure I get lots of those. I also like to snuggle up in a big fluffy bed when I take my naps. I am learning my leash manners and am doing really well. I love food and am very food motivated so this will help with me becoming the best behaved pupper ever. I am still figuring out things so I may chew on things I shouldn’t and I may cry for what you think is no real reason but I promise that I will reward you with lots of kisses, laughs and love.

ALFIE - ADOPTED

Hello! I am Alfie! I am about 3 months old and am just a little Terrier mix puppy. I found myself at the scary shelter all by myself and we think it is because I was showing signs of having Juvenille Cellucitis, I just needed a bit of support with my immune system. I just needed some medication for a bit to help boost everything and to get out of the shelter into my awesome foster home who gives me coconut oil that is SO yummy! My fur has basically grown all the way back now on my nose too. I have been the best puppy in my foster home!
I am great with other dogs and am currently living with other doggie friends. We have fun and I am a bit on the submissive side towards them. I would be a great little brother but can be an only dog too as long as my people are going to spend time with me. I will be fine in a home with cats as long as I am shown proper play with them and of course monitored for the first little while. I would be fine in a home with kids but I am a typical puppy who is learning not to use my mouth when I play.

I am doing well with my crate training but may cry for a few moments when I first go in. I am also good with my house training but it of course will be a bit of a change switching up routines so please be a bit patient with me. I can walk on a leash like a big boy and like to explore things. I am good in the car but need to be secured as I will try to climb around and that can be dangerous for a little dude like me. We are not sure how big I am going to get but right now I am just a little fella.

SHAGGY - ADOPTED

My name is Shaggy and I am about 13 weeks old. Do you all remember Midas and all the love and applications he received? Well I am his brother and I am a lover of everyone and everything. I am a mellow Lab mix guy who likes naps, snuggles, some adventure time and of course playing with my doggie friends. I am going to be a medium/large size guy when I am fully grown but I am a super smart and well behaved puppy just looking for my new family.

I get along great with all other dogs and would be a great little brother for a fun loving playful dog. I can also be an only dog too. That is ok. I am fine with kitties and would be fine sharing my home with them as long as they are dog savvy and will be ok with a playful puppy in their life. I am also good with kids and would be fine sharing my home with some of those as well.

I am doing wonderfully with my crate and house training stuff. I know that I need to go outside to do my business and am almost always doing that but keep in mind I am a puppy and will need some help in my new home with a new routine and what not. I am smart though so I will get it really fast. I am good at car rides and they actually put me to sleep most of the time.

TILLY - ADOPTED

Hello. My name is Tilly! I am an 8 week old baby girl who is looking for a new home. I am a mix between some Border Collie, some Husky, and some Shepherd who knows really. There could be other stuff in there too but we don’t know all my history. I have spent the past 3 weeks learning new things and getting exposed to lots of different stuff so that I can be well adjusted in almost any home. I am looking for a family who is outgoing and active and wants a new best friend to join in on their adventures with them.

I am great with other dogs and have met quite a few different ones while being in foster care. I will play with them and cuddle with them but most importantly I will learn from them. I am good with cats but am learning my manners and when they say enough play I gotta remember to stop chasing them. I am also good with kids. As long as those kids know that I am still a baby and like to use my mouth to explore things we will be just fine.

I am working hard on my house training, I am doing super good at it too! I am also working on my crate training and my leash manners, it is still a bit of a challenge for me because I am a baby but I am doing it! I am very smart, very sweet and of course lots of fun to play with. I love to play with toys and do not mind going on car rides either.

Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hi. Hi. Hi. My name is Peppi and I sure do have a bunch of Pep in my step. Let me first start with I am 2 years old and am some sort of Maltese x Yorkie mix. I am a girl who loves playing dress up and wearing adorable bows in my hair. I am a very active, very noisy, very cute, very playful, very pretty girl who is looking for a family to love me. I would not like to live in an apartment or a townhouse as I bark at the wind most times. I however do love to play and would love a fun backyard full of wind and leaves to bark at.

I am great with other dogs, I love to rip around the backyard with my pals in my foster home, I also cuddle and groom my best friend in my foster home. I have not met any kitties in my foster home so I do not know how I would be as I did not have any kitties in my previous home either. I sometimes bark with excitement at the teenagers in my foster home. I have been around kids ages 4+ in my old home but I would love kids who can interact with me.

I am excellent in my crate and stay in there when I need to. I however am having a bit of a struggle with the house training stuff and will need my new family to keep me on a schedule so I can get it figured out. I am learning my leash manners and although I can spin and dance for treats I really do not have much in the way of obedience so I am working on that stuff! I would love to go to doggie school to learn to be the best girl I can be.

Hi, I am Moose. I am a very perfect 3.5 month old Rottie x Lab mix boy. I am going to be a large size dude when I get older so please do not apply for me if you are looking for a small guy. I am pretty adventurous but can sometimes be a bit shy when trying new things. I am working on my confidence building and think it is going quite well. It is fun getting to explore new things and meet new friends.

I am great with other dogs and have been around a bunch in my short little life. I am good with cats and would be fine sharing my home with them, I just need to be reminded as I grow bigger to play gently with them. I am also fine with kiddos and would be fine sharing my home with them too, just remember I am still a baby so picking up those toys is mandatory or I may chew on them.
