Well colour us pink! 🥰 There was a outpouring of support for us and our venture and we wanted to say thank you!

But we're not done yet! Thanks to Madison at Castanet we have gained some traction and have had a few other news agencies pick up our story!

Now this is where you come in!!! We can't do it alone and we could use your help!

530pm Thursday February 16th at BnA brewing they are having an open discussion with a developer.

The developer is asking what the public want to see developed on the 1 acre parcel of land they own in the downtown core.

Needless to say we will be preparing and presenting our case to develop a large indoor dog park in combination with affordable housing.

As anything this venture relies on local support and vision, the more support the faster a reality it can become. So if you are around the area, feeling thirsty or just want to check things out, come help make an impact and change the shape of the Okanagan for the pawsitive.

Hello Friends!

Yes it has been too long, no we have not given up, in fact we have been gone from local to provincial to international branding! we were fortunate enough to be invited to the international pet conference Superzoo just a few weeks ago in Las Vegas and was that ever an eye opener!

To add to the excitement along with Up Dog we will be attending the pet-friendly Penticton event held on Sept 18th. This will give us the opportunity to meet you all in person, answer all the question you have and start our membership process..don't worry its free for now! OH and did we mention Okanagan Trick Dogs will be there?!

There is so much more in the works but we don't want to give away all of the good stuff right away, come see us say hello, enter the draw for some free swag and enjoy a day in Penticton with us!

UGH

Unfortunately, we were hoping to have had more exciting news however it is with a heavy heart we are posting today that we lost our downtown facility due to reasons beyond our control.

This was primarily a health and safety issue of a very large proportion, this affected ourselves, our members and our four legged friends. This came as a massive shock to us.

But!!! This is far from over as we have already been meeting with several other developers and landlords in and around the valley. It does postpone our opening date to fall/winter.😭

While we know many of you are eager, excited or even skeptical I assure you we are hard at work in developing the best possible facility for everyone.

As most of us know with major developers in the valley and limited large venues available securing 25k-60k square feet central city is no easy feat.

That being said we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to The Off-Leash team for their persistence, passion and tireless effort as they continue to push forward. Your dedication is truly admirable and we thank you all for it.

Most of all we want to thank all of you, our followers, members and supporters. Our efforts are a direct result of your support and continued positive encouragement through this process.

This started as an idea to hang out with our best friends everyday and has taken us to a level we never could have dreamed of, we still pinch ourselves daily(true story).

None of this is possible without you and we are forever grateful.🙏

Don't give up on us yet, things are just getting interesting! I mean who doesn't love an underdog?! Again thank you all and we look forward to meeting you all sooner than later.

Hello everyone!

We have been waiting to share news with you and while we can't tell you everything we are excited to share what we can!

As you know we were planning to be open by the end of 2021 however with world and local events this has caused some delays on the short term.

However

We will be opening a facility in the heart of downtown Kelowna! It's big, like really big, it's open and it has lots of free parking!!!! We project our doors open and welcoming you all for 2022.

But that doesn't mean you have to wait for us to open to get your hands on some goodies!

Off-Leash Kelowna will also be selling and renting professional agility and training contact equipment for March 1 2022. All equipment is made and built for ease of set up and in accordance with the CKC and AKC regulations for competition use as well as a beginners line.

All equipment and much more will soon be available through our online store! That's right an online store too, now you can plan your training days, equipment or find some cool products for your furry friends.

This started as an idea to bring our dogs to work and to our surprise the response and demand for our service was overwhelming. We never would have anticipated it to be received as well as it did so as a reply to everyone's enthusiasm we went one step further and have created Off-Leash Canada Dog Parks. Off-Leash will become a national brand as we expand into different markets across the country.

Now what will we be offering? Well that's been passed around the discussion table a fair bit and since we all couldn't agree on one thing we said let's just do it all!

Hello everyone!

Well we planned on having big news to share at the end of December, however with the crazy weather over the holidays and many business in town flooding due to frozen pipes etc....well you can guess what happened to our location🙄😭

Needless to say the speed bump may have slowed us down but didn't stop us. We will update everyone on our location and a few other surprises this weekend!
