Today, we had the pleasure of visiting our friends at Fairfield 24h Emergency Hospital as part of our tour of local veterinary clinics in Kelowna spreading the word about our walk-in clinic. The experience was truly humbling. Our pets, beloved members of our families, are so fortunate to have access to such a wide range of medical care right here in our community—from acupuncture and chiropractic care to dermatology and dentistry. The holidays are a time for celebration, but we know for many, Christmas can be a particularly difficult time. Whether it's the pain of loss, the feeling of isolation, or the pressure of addiction recovery, this season can amplify feelings of loneliness and stress.

Catelowna would like to offer our safe space to you - a peaceful space for those who need comfort, connection, and the soothing power of pet therapy. 🐾💖 This Christmas, come find a moment of tranquility, unwind, and relax in the company of our furry friends.

The best part? There will be no charge to book a spot in the Cat Lounge for December 25th, we will be doing a 'pay what you can' donation system at check in. Every little bit helps us make this safe space available to more people in need. Cafe fare will be at the usual prices but we will be running a special for Hot Apple Cider and Tomato Soup.

Important Details:

- The building (Ricco Plaza) will be locked. We will come down on the hour and half past the hour to let you in. Reservations will reflect this timing, and only those on the reservation list will be admitted.

- Regular House Rules apply and the capacity in the lounge will remain at 16 people. You are welcome to stay longer than an hour as long as this capacity is not reached.

We understand that Christmas can bring up so many emotions, and we want to provide a space to breathe, heal, and be surrounded by warmth and support. If you're feeling overwhelmed, lonely, or in need of some comfort, come spend some time with us. The kitties are here for you. 🌟
