Hey everyone! Our shelter dogs at the Kelowna SPCA would love your help! We're in need of large Kongs (ideally the extra-strong black ones) to keep our dogs entertained and engaged. These durable toys are amazing for providing enrichment, helping our pups stay happy and calm as they wait for their forever homes.
Check out the video to see just how much the dogs love their Kongs—they really make a difference! Ideally, we’re looking for new or gently used Kongs. Dini is a 10-month-old bundle of love and energy! Despite a tough start—she broke her leg, which didn’t heal correctly, and eventually needed an amputation—Dini is unstoppable. She’s playful, loves to jump, and has the happiest spirit!
Dini would thrive in a home where she can be the only dog, as she’s not a fan of sharing her people with other pups. This girl loves snuggles, attention, and all the cozy spots to curl up in. She’ll happily chase toys and will be right by your side for every adventure.

🐹 Meet Butler - A Guinea Pig Looking for His Forever Home! 🏡
Butler is a 1-year-old guinea pig who needs extra socialization to help him feel comfortable. Guinea pigs do best in pairs, but Butler fought with his previous cage mate, so he would need slow bonding with a new one.
If adopted alone, he will need daily interaction with his humans to stay happy. He also enjoys his guinea pig-safe veggies!

This sweet girl came to us as a co-mother. She and two other cats were surrendered together with 8 babies, and these amazing mamas took turns nursing, grooming the babies, and caring for each other. Now, Firefly is the last one waiting for her *furever* home.
Firefly is great with kids, gets along well with other cats, and absolutely loves hanging out in laps. Just watch the video to see how happy she is—purring, making biscuits (kneading), and soaking up all the love. She’s a young, affectionate cat who would be a perfect addition to any family. 💕

🌟 We're thrilled to share that we've been working with RDCO for many years! Recently, the SPCA sent delegates to present the 2023 Spay and Neuter numbers and report on the yearly animal numbers. The RDCO funds the Spay and Neuter Program for low-income families at the Kelowna SPCA, making a huge difference in our community. Additionally, we assist by taking in stray dogs from them when RDCO is unable to locate the owners. Check out the attached information for more details!
