Dog agility is one of the fastest-growing dog sports in the world. It's a fun & exciting sport in which a team of dog & handler run through numbered courses to perform obstacles within a certain time limit. Agility competitions are exciting, whether you're watching in the crowd or participating! Dog agility was born at the 1978 Crufts Dog Show in England, where it was loosely based on equestrian j

umping events...and since then, it's exploded in popularity all over the world. emphasizes teamwork, with the handler directing their teammate through the obstacles using a strategy of body and verbal cues. is a fun, healthy way to connect and play with your dog. creates a strong bond between handler and dog. can be enjoyed by people and dogs of all ages, as long as they are fit & healthy enough to meet the athletic challenges. accommodates all types & sizes of dogs, from mixed breeds to pure breeds. is a great way to get fresh air and exercise with your best friend.

A big thank you from Lend A Paw Pet Food Foundation
for the great donations you all collected at the Thanksgiving Fun Match

A gigantic, tail-wagging shoutout to Lorna and Kristen and the amazing team at the Central Okanagan Agility Club for orchestrating a pawsitively legendary food and toy drive during their fun agility match this past long weekend! The cash and goodies collected will keep our furry friends in the Central and South Okanagan well-fed and tail-waggingly happy! Let's give a special round of applause to our quality control officer of the day, Tyler 🐕! So far this October, we've served up meals for 300 dogs and cats, plus a whole menagerie of guinea pigs, geckos, parakeets, and other fabulous critters! Thank you! Thank you! You’re all pawsitively fantastic!

There was another special award given out at the Lyle Brown Trial . In honour of her dog, Babs, Hildi presented a lovely gift basket to the team who had the most Master Q's at the trial
There was a tie between Barb Haye and Porsche and Ron Wright and Sophie. A draw was done with Ron Wright with his dog Sophie being the lucky winners

Babs and Hildi won the Lyle Brown Trophy twice and were a wonderful team to watch . Babs loved agility and Hildi loved being her partner. Thank you Hildi
