PSA — DOG ILLNESS 🛑🛑

There is a new mystery respiratory illness in dogs that is effecting many dogs in several locations including Indiana.

Cases so far reported in:
AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, ME, MD, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NV, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI,
Canada: Alberta, Manitoba

Make sure your dogs are UTD on all vaccinations. Bordatella, Ravies, Parvo booster, etc. These are Very Important.

Coughing, lethargy, sneezing, nasal/eye discharge, etc.
It starts as a cough (similar to kennel cough) and turns into Pnemonia leading to death.
If ANY of these symptoms begin call your vet immediately.

If you have more than one dog and either begins to show symptoms immediately quarantine the dogs away from each other.

It can be contracted through contact, airborne, and possibly brought home (please wipe down your shoes when coming home, wash your hands, and disinfect doorknobs.

PLEASE limit taking your dog out. Avoid taking your dog to Dog Parks, Pet Stores, Boarding Facilities, and other environments where they may come into contact with this illness.
