Votes ✅ are in and everyone wanted this as a post so, I will also explain why this shouldn’t actually be surprising to have both bear 🐻 and dog 🐕 ignore or at least respect each other.
This also would not be possible without my phenomenal clients entrusting me to help them and their dogs in training & having the humans continuing with what they’ve be taught.
Our training system focuses on how we can build a healthy mutual relationship of trust and respect for the dog, the human and as a pair between dog & human. To build a healthy relationship, you have to understand how to mutually communicate and fulfill each parties needs so that, we can then come together to where everyone benefits to the highest degree.
All these dogs trust & respect me as much as I trust & respect them! Each of these dogs through time and consistency with myself have learned, I always have their best interest at heart for each individual dog & also the entire pack. This is what has lead to them in this instance, not even noticing the bear cub because, I didn’t make a big deal out of it so, the dogs didn’t have any reason to sense anything was of any concern.
It’s common that people forget that, in nature prey animals and predatory animals of all species always live in harmony and respect all others when they are all mentally stable. The only exception to this is; sick animals, an animal that feels threatened by another or one is hungry and is hunting.
The reason this can be shocking for the average dog owner is usually due to, an unhealthy relationship from a dogs psychology point of view (not from our human psychology viewpoint).
