It was an eventful weekend for Pyro x Vesta's Puppies.
Tanki Fire and Ice (Aurora) went to the Alberta Kennel Club show and came home with 9 points towards her Canadian championship. Congratulations Cat Fauvelle
Tanki Scorpion's Fire (Jax) and Ch Tanki Reign of Fire ( Kyra) completed her NA testing with NAVHDA Hemmingford Chapter. Both received prize 1 with 112/112 (Jax) and 110/112 (Kyra).
Jax(pyro x Vesta) had his first Canadian show this weekend and accumulated 3 points towards his Canadian championship by winning breed at 3 of the 5 shows
Still lots of kinks to work out with this young boy but the future is bright

Kyra was awarded best puppy at the Brittany spaniel club of Ontario specialty this morning under judge Peter King. This is even more special as the last time Peter King judged this event Pyro was awarded best puppy in specialty
Pending ckc approval Kyra has completed her Canadian championship in style with a best of winners and best puppy at the Brittany spaniel club of Canada national specialty.

Pyro came home yesterday to be transformed from a Farm dog into a show dog. Pyro will be showing at in the Ottawa Valley Pointing Dog booster being held on Saturday May 15, 2024 at the Richmond Fairgrounds.

Back from the club canin rive-sud de Montréal where Kyra was awarded best of breed in the limited group 1 and winners female in the all breed show
This little girl is a ball to run left circles with.
Great time at Champlain show. Kyra came home with two best of breeds.
Everyone came home with points and most importantly everyone brought home the best dog 🐕

Back home from Jax and Kyra’s first multi day dog show in Syracuse NY. Both showed great Jax is learning the ropes and had a blast getting 3 reserve winners. Kyra showed great and got winners on Thursday and Saturday and reserve on Friday giving her 5 points towards her AKC championship. Official win pictures to come.
Thank you to the great crew to show with that push me to be better for my dogs. Their advice pays off.

Also forgot to post that Kyra went to the Scarborough show with Stephanie and Chantal and came home with Breed for 1 point towards here CKC championship.

Back from Erie PA, Jax and Kyra got to play show dogs. Jax strutted his stuff and walked away with Best Baby Puppy in Show on Saturday under judge Julie Narzisi.

Love these puppies I can vacuum and they just watch no running away from the loud noise.
This morning all the dogs worked on “place” with multiple dogs in the house and training multiple dogs at a time having the dogs understand the job to stay on their place is so very important.
This is Tilly and Kyra’s third session. Each session has a little more criteria.
Tilly is here for vacation. Both Kyra and Tilly are tuckered out from adventures to the pet store and Canadian tire

This afternoon Kyra and Aurora got to come along shopping at peavy mart. They got to meet lots of new people and faces lots of cuddles. All the babies should sleep good tonight.

After class today we went on a trip to Petsmart. The girls were happy to watch the world. socializing a puppy is also bringing them into new situations and letting them just watch and absorb.
Aurora (Electra) Will be leaving next week for Edmonton. This is her second time outside working on her leash skills.

The Puppies are 10 weeks old today. Sometimes it's hard to explain the difference in personalities but I think when doing training one on one you can truly see the difference. Today before lunch they had their second session doing "it's your choice". They all did great but they are all learning differently and it's fun to watch them work things out. This is a video of Kyra working.
