Pyro had an incredible weekend at the Ottawa Kennel Club show! 🐾🔥

While I was busy getting Kyra ready for the ring, Maddi took the lead with Pyro for his interior scent search. Despite never working together before, they pulled off a Q—what a team effort!

I then had the chance to take Pyro into the exterior scent ring, where he secured his final Q and officially earned his Scent Novice title!

But Pyro wasn’t done yet. He also took on the Rats Canada ring, proving his skills by earning his Instinct title in both Barn Hunt and Brush Hunt!

We came so close to his Barn Hunt Novice title, but I made the mistake of doubting his ability—lesson learned! Next time, we'll trust him fully and go in with confidence.

So proud of this amazing boy and all he’s achieved. Pending CKC confirmation, Pyro has officially added a whole collection of letters to his name!

I’m a little behind on updates, but Kyra has been keeping busy these past couple of months!

In April, she stepped into the Champlain Dog Show for just one day and walked away with a Group 4 placement—a fantastic achievement!

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of competing at our local Ottawa Kennel Club show, where Kyra took on not one but TWO exciting challenges. She strutted her stuff in the conformation ring and then put her incredible nose to the test in the scent trial. Not only did she pass her instinct test, but she officially earned her SDI title!
So proud of this girl and all she’s accomplishing. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Exciting news for Tanki Brittany’s! Pyro is once again gracing the cover of BrownTrout's 2026 calendar, proving he's a true superstar! But that's not all—Pyro and Vesta are sharing the spotlight as cover dogs for the 2026 Just Brittanys calendar by Willow Creek Press. This special calendar also features beautiful moments of Kyra (brown girl) and Jax (green boy) enjoying a winter wonderland, Aurora (orange girl), Kyra (brown girl), and Rouky (grey boy) as adorable puppies running through the grass, Pyro and Vesta all grown up when the pups were 8 weeks old, and Bailey (Blue) embracing the fall leaves. It’s a Brittany-filled year ahead, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! 🐾📸✨

Kyra was awarded best puppy at the Brittany spaniel club of Ontario specialty this morning under judge Peter King. This is even more special as the last time Peter King judged this event Pyro was awarded best puppy in specialty
