Open house and drop in visit for all Kingmik sammies and their families this coming Sunday, June 8, 2024 from 10am to 2pm.

Kennels have now come down and been sold as my buyers are not in the dog business. Hope the weather will cooperate!

Come say goodbye to Peanut, Pushok and MinMin who will be making the move with me to Saint Lazare at the end of June.

Yeah! Sold my house in Kemptville and have bought another in Saint Lazare, QC. Very excited to have found such a nice home to move to. Sale of my Kemptville home closes on July 5th.

My buyers are not dog people, so they are not interested in any of the kennels or dog equipment. I will take what I need for the three dogs moving with me, but the rest is up for sale.

Kennel closeout will start June 1st, all the kennels, pens, gates, rubber mats, stainlesss steel pails, dishes, bedding, grooming supplies, harnesses, dog sledding gear etc… Will post pictures later in May, but pm me if you would like to drop by and get something.

We also have our last litter in Rockland from Harper and Milou. Fergus and Josephine are still looking for their forever homes. They will be ready to be rehomed mid May. Wishing a Merry Christmas to all my friends and family. A special greeting to the many owners of Kingmik Samoyeds….you are part of my very large extended family. Sloppy kisses and many tail wags to all from Pushok, Peanut and MinMin.

Skye finally decided that she could have a regular sized litter and presented me with five lovely pups on December 11….after I had announced my intention to retire from breeding in 2024…she made it under the wire, and I couldn’t ask for a nicer litter! Took 3 sets of hands and many takes to keep the little rascals in the sled for our Christmas photo.

Enjoy the holiday season and let’s hope for sone snow to play in!

After 40 years of breeding purebred Samoyeds as Kingmik Kennels, I am finally retiring from breeding and moving to be closer to family. I will continue to be involved in dog sports with my remaining three sammies. Aiming to move to Saint Lazare/Hudson, QC area as soon as the house is sold.

Here is the link to my property in Kemptville. This property has Special Rural Kennel zoning, commercial boarding allowable. It is on 22 acres, set well back from the road with indoor/outdoor runs, a grooming room, fully fenced back yard and separate fenced agility training field.

I also have lots of equipment and gear for sale including whelping boxes, a Draminsky ovulation detector, dog pens, crates, agility equipment, dishes, stainless steel pails, show and other collars/leashes. PM me directly if you are interested in anything in particular.

Meet Apollo & Shiloh
These beautiful dogs arrived at the shelter together. The two are extremely bonded and will be adopted as a pair. They are both great to walk on leash and are very clean in their kennel. They are true Canadians and love the winter. He is roughly a 2 year old Male and she is roughly 6years old. They have both been spayed/neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated while at the ADHS. Both dogs arrived at the shelter with a very matted tail with burrs and sadly we had to shave some out. Both dogs love to sing and have beautiful voices! We would love if you could come and spend some time with this amazing pair.

Took Kayah -Kingmik’s Always Young at Heart to the vet this morning for her pregnancy Xray…..looks like five puppies which are due August 2nd. Kayah was bred to Kingmik’s Pushok.
