My name is Taylor, I am a young adult looking into starting my own business with pets!
Here is a little bit about me, I recently graduated from NSCC with a diploma in Therapeutic Recreation (I know not related to animals) but I have plans to continue to grow on my education in my free time with online courses (something to do with animals)
I have had animals all my life and currently have a houseful (some might call it a mini zoo LOL) My own personal pets include fish, 3 ferrets, a snake, a cat and 2 dogs (a Border Collie who is nine and a German Shepherd that is six months)! In the past I've also had rabbits, a hedgehog, and guinea pigs!
Although not current I used to also ride horses and help out around the barn in no way am I an expert but I do know basic care!
I currently work at the Petvalu in New Minas as the animal care specialist in the mornings, so I research all the animals before bringing them in, make sure when we receive any animals that they are healthy and in good shape to be adopted out to their (hopefully) forever homes! I make sure everyone has what they need in regards to nutrition, some enrichment, and cleanliness.
