Each year we select a local Organization to donate the funds raised at the Pet Expo to. This year the recipient is ElderDog Canada-Kings County Pawd. We are so happy to support this wonderful organization.

Mission
Our mission is to honour and preserve the animal-human bond through care, companionship, research, and education.

Goals
ElderDog’s goals are to:

assist and support older adults in the care and well-being of their canine companions
provide care and companionship for older dogs whose lives have been disrupted due to illness or death of a human companion
educate health and animal care professionals and the general public of all ages about the human-animal bond in general and the significant role of companion animals in the health and well-being of seniors in particular
support and conduct research into the human-animal bond with a focus on seniors and canine companionship

That’s a wrap for 2024!!
We raised $2,446 for 9-Lives Cat Rescue! ❤️
Thank you so much to all of our vendors for being here today. And Thank you to the volunteers who helped make this day happen!
The Valley may not be large and busy but together we can make a difference! See you all next year!!

This captive bred Smallwoodi will be available tomorrow at the Annapolis Valley Pet Expo! This is the first one I'm releasing since I started working with them. More to come later this year.

Set up has begun!! We are so excited to see you all tomorrow!!
A couple notes:
✨Admission is $5 CASH ONLY (100% goes to 9-Lives Cat Rescue)
✨This event is pet friendly so YES you can bring your furry friends! Please only bring your pets if you feel they will do well in a very busy environment with other animals present and make sure they are kept on leash/contained!
We have done well so far to not have any issues and want to keep it that way 😃
