A major source of joy and entertainment, a hobby that has evolved into a way of life. Brief background: Andy and Deb Webb and family have been raising dogs since 1999. Various breeds with a focus on great danes for many years. We studded out one of our lovely males to pass along his good genes. At this point we only have one great dane, Zeuss. ago we lost one of the loveliest dogs I have owned, a white boxer named Pepsi(11yrs.). She had a brindle heart-shaped mark on her bum which most people saw and mentioned. A few months after that loss, a good friend came over with a box of pups her dogs had. She pulled out a white female with a club/clover shape in black above her tail. I think she is an angel cloaked in dog fur. Her breeding is border collie/golden retriever/dalmation. At the end of her first heat somebody unexpectedly came over with their intact husky/malamute. One month before her first birthday Isis birthed 5 pups. We kept the only female and called her Abby, she looks like a golden husky and is an exceptional dog, just like her mom..

Funniest thing yet today:
I heard the puppies in another room earlier today, growling and tumbling and the odd yelp. When the odd yelps turned into cries of distress I decided to go look.
Ripper, the black puppy, found a Great Dane size head-cone for use after surgical procedures. The little gaffer got his mid section stuck in the most narrow part of the cone. Elizabethan cones is what they are called.
I was so amused that I hauled the dog, cone and all,across the house to show my husband.
I freed him without incident. :)
