Join us August 8th thru 11th for an incredible 4 days of riding with two incredible horsewomen.

Join multiple BC Finals Champion and avid Backcountry Rider, Carleigh Jensan, and multiple Reining Champion and Mountain Trail instructor, Sabrina Fedorak, in this fun and challenging clinic!

This clinic will touch on multiple disciplines of riding including:

✅️ Cow Work
✅️ Reining
✅️ Groundwork/Liberty
✅️ Obstacles
✅️ Back Country Trail Rides!!

Not only will you be with your equine partner in a clinic setting for approximately 6 hours per day, you will have access to incredible trails to enjoy at your leisure.

Want to bring the family?! Make this a vacation to remember as Green Lake is right next door! Boating, hiking, fishing and even ATV trails all within minutes of the facility.

The price of this clinic includes the following:

✅️ Stabling (You will water, feed, muck and care for your horse daily).
✅️ Dry Camping at no additional cost.
✅️ Fun and healthy snack provided daily including water.
✅️ Friday night Cookout with all the fixings!!!

Clinic Cost - $1,200 plus GST per student.
- Pay by etransfer or pay by credit card for a nominal 3% convenience fee.

Good morning! If you're reading this you're invited 😉

We have a Groundwork and Obstacle Clinic today from 10am to 4pm, which auditors are welcome (free of charge today)!

It's not often the facility is open to the public, so this might be your opportunity to come down and watch some of the participants as they learn with their horses.

A few key notes:

- Please use the facility entrance off River Road. Do NOT come to the front by the house, the gate will be shut.

Watch the transformation as you:

- Learn how to properly roundpen your horse.
- Learn basic groundwork techniques to gain your horse's respect and create a safe boundary and confidence.
- Learn to hook up with your horse at basic liberty.
- Learn to safely send your horse out and confidently approach and walk obstacles.
- Learn to safely ride obstacles when/if ready.

This fun, yet challenging clinic, is open to all levels of riders. Due to insurance requirements riders must at least 12 years of age.

This clinic will be done in-hand, participants will have the chance to ride the obstacles if their horse is ready.

Requirements:
- Helmets if 19 or under.
- Rope halter.
- 12 to 14 foot lead rope.
- Handy whip.

Clinic cost is $150 plus GST per participant.

This 3 year old has been under saddle only a short time and wow can he stop and rollback!!

This beautiful black gelding is going to be incredible in a few years when he is done his training. Baby "Merlin" isn't such a baby anymore!!

Well it's official!! Welcome to Lacey Baird, the new Assistant Trainer at Morning Star Ranch.

Lacey has been part of our family for 3 years and today she accepted a part-time position on the ranch.

A dream job!! Who doesn't want to play with horses all the time?!?

Lacey will be assisting grooming, saddling, exercising and trail riding our amazing horses as we grow our Gypsy program this upcoming year. 🦄

Next September Lacey will be attending farrier school in Vancouver before embarking on a journey into the Vet Tech program in Kamloops.

We love Lacey and are so happy she will be spending more time with us and our babies ❤️
