My 4-year-old niece shares essential tips on how to interact with dogs the right way:
- Leave dogs alone when they are eating or drinking
- Always ask before petting someone’s dog
- Never stick hands or fingers in the crate
- No ice cream sandwiches for dogs!
- If they are sleeping, let them rest
- Only give dogs food that is safe for them (no people food, chocolate, or grapes)
- Don’t run around dogs
