Thankfully it appears he/she just arrived strolled in today for a nap as nothing was damaged or soiled on...whew 🫣

Pete put on his "big boy" panties and scared him away ❤️...but poor Pete will also still be steam cleaning the boat tomorrow 😂

When I returned from my vacation at the beginning of August I had the pleasure to look after this handsome dude...meet "Tiny Guy" 😂

While Tiny Guy's main focus was on food and treats, he also LOVED to play with the rainbow felt toy and thought Da Bird toy was Da Bomb 💣

Puppy Ruthie is still looking for love in all the wrong places it seems 😭She's a mix of yellow lab mix and wheaten terrier mix (or so we think given the photos of mom and dad) She's about 12 weeks old now and ready to rock and roll into a new family! Had just one visit with these 3 sweeties over the weekend. The 2 youngsters are Ginger Flame (darker orange) and Lilac Breeze (champagne color). The DLH is Butterscotch 💜

I think most of you know about my affection for orange kitties so to say I was in heaven is no exaggeration 😂

We had a great time while their family was away 🐾

Cats have 32 muscles in EACH of their ears❗

Cats rely on their hearing to determine the location and movement of prey, and to avoid themselves being preyed upon 👂

As you will see from this video of handsome Chester, cats can move each ear independently which aids them in detecting which direction sound is coming from and helps them to amplify it 🔊

Cats are such amazing creatures and never cease to amaze me 💓

Had a bunch of great visits with Oaklee (Bengal) and Jimi (Orange Tabby) a couple months ago 🥰

As I'm sure everyone knows...Bengals can be very "spirited", but Oaklee was a very well behaved little lady with a gentle soul 💜

As I'm sure everyone ALSO knows, I have a special place in my heart for the orange tabbies and Jimi did not disappoint 🧡

Overall such a great little family that was a joy to care for 🐾
