The Meadows On The Hill is a well-appointed Hunter/Jumper Boarding Facility that combines exceptional care and coaching with a mature, warm and welcoming environment. In addition to Boarding services we offer lessons and part-board on our own horses, with the opportunity to take clinics, rider levels and other special events throughout the year. This week we helped ease Remi into retirement. He's right around the corner where we can monitor and visit him, but we'll miss seeing him on a day-to-day basis. He's so very special and has taught us all so much, enjoy your new digs Remi!! We'll be by soon to bring treats and nose-boops! 😘

Our OESD Competitors had a great weekend a few weeks ago. Chloe/Jet, Sophie/Cindy Lou and Victoria/Bandit all put in terrific rides, cheered on by many of our Hill riders who came to join in the fun. Can’t wait for the final show of the season 👏🏻👏🏻

The Meadows is committed to giving back to those horses that have spent their lives helping people learn to ride and have served as our faithful partners in competition. A safe and healthy retirement is a just reward for the love and learning these horses have given us throughout the years.

We're looking for volunteers who might like to show our Retirees some love by bathing, grooming and sharing cuddles and treats. If interested please reach out to [email protected] and learn more about spending time with Daer, TK, Chaos and Bella!

Congratulations to our OESD Competitors who competed in the 3rd event of the series on Sunday. Chloe/Jet, Sophie/Cindy Lou and Victoria/Bandit all put in terrific rides and earned multiple ribbons, cheered on by many of our Hill riders who came to join in the fun. Huge thanks to Pickering Horse Centre for hosting another great day of camaraderie and growth! Special mention goes to Victoria, who rode the Hunter flat classes later in the day during the torrential rainfall 🤣⛈☔️

Meadows on the Hill had a wonderful time at Pickering Horse Centre's OESD Series this weekend! Chloe rode in a terrific schooling session on Saturday with "TME Top Gun", Sophie competed "TME Cindy Lou Who" winning top ribbons in the Jumpers and Mini-Prix on Sunday. Wrapping up the day, Victoria and TME Ballini competed in Victoria's very first Hunter Division and won top ribbons in every class! Everyone came home tired, dusty and excited to do it all over again the weekend of July 14th 😁

Huge thanks to Coach Vicky for an amazing first show for our Ontario Equestrian Development Series riders. Pickering Horse Centre had everyone on track and organized, it couldn't have been a better day. Congratulations to our riders who worked hard and put in some great rounds, earned ribbons and to Sophie who tied for Champion!

Huge thanks to everyone at The Pickering Horse Centre Ltd. for hosting us today. The wet weather held off and our riders had a fantastic schooling session. We can't wait to return next weekend for the first OESD show of the season!

Indy has enjoyed life as a show horse, and then in recent years scaled back to introduce beginners to flatwork and more advanced riders to jumping courses at The Meadows. Now it's time for her to relax and soak up the sunshine. Happy Retirement Indy!
