🐶 Meet Dixie – 4 Years Old! Dixie has been with us for 182 days.
Likes: food, walks, being pet, sleeping in your bed, cuddles, scratchiest and overall attention.

Dislikes: new people coming into home, loud noises, things being thrown in the air (yes, if you throw something in the air, she will hit the deck)

What would be the ideal home? A balance between quiet and active. Routine is a huge part of Dixie and helps with her anxiety.

Dislikes: Having her stomach & sides touched, being bothered by other pets (she doesn't want to play that much), loud noises, being alone for too long

🐶 Meet Hippo (aka Luna) – 4 Years Old! Hippo has been with us for 165 days.

Likes: food, treats, walks, car rides, snuggles, sleeping in the bed, watching out the front window

Dislikes: easily excited/high energy/hyper dogs

What would be the ideal home? Believe Hippo (aka Luna) will adjust well to any environment. Fine for first time owners, but will need to be strong to handle her, especially during walks when she gets excited when approaching other people and dogs.

Dislikes: Unfamiliar adults getting too close before showing him they're safe, wand toys (at this moment), being put in his carrier, being touched when he is unwilling, and being pet from above.

What would be the ideal home? A quiet and calm home that will respect his boundaries, with many places where he can rest and watch his people.
