About Me
I was born in Switzerland to a family of dairy farmers. My family immigrated to Canada when I was little to a small community in Northern Ontario to expand our farming horizons. My siblings and I grew up playing, living and learning outdoors, and always amongst our animal friends.
My love for dogs started early on, but did not become a career pursuit until I was in my early 20’s and I had a chance to explore Canada’s Arctic. I grew absolutely fascinated with the mushing culture and met a husky puppy, (“Lucky” Max), who quickly became part of the family. We eventually returned to Ontario, where I explored other interests and finished my educational pursuits, knowing that I would eventually find my way back to the dogs.
After years of working for others as a dog-walker, dog care assistant, and kennel manager, I finally decided it was time to take on an entreprenurial challenge and go at it on my own.
I am forever grateful for the incredible interspecies relationship between man and dog, as I find it to be both deep and rich.
