These are ear mites!
How do you know if your pet has ear mites?
They're usually quite itchy and/or agitated.
You'll see a dark, "coffee ground" like discharge in the ear canals.
Ear mites are more commonly found in colony-type situations and in outdoor type life styles.
There are a number of treatments for ear mites, all of which should be prescribed or dealt with by a veterinary professional.
Ps. Don't worry, you won't catch ear mites from your fur friends. They don't like our ears.
Thats not peanut butter on that toothbrush (although, I'm sure Seifer would love that), its poultry flavoured pet friendly toothpaste! If your pets aren't as thrilled about having their teeth brushed as Seifer is, give us a call to discuss alternatives. Brushing your pets teeth is the #1 recommendation for oral health (just like us) but the Veterinary Oral Health Council has given their seal of approval to a number of great products that also contribute to your pets health.
