Happy Monday everyone!!

Sorry for the delay in posting, but the salon is back open its regular hours now and I’m plugging away at catching up on all the calls/msgs from over the holidays. I’m still in the process of prebooking individual client years worth of appointments, but will get to everyone over the next couple weeks. If you don’t have your first appointment of 2025 booked yet, please contact me asap to get that one in the books for now. Annette will be contacting her individual clients to do the same.

And that’s a wrap!!

The salon is now closed until Wednesday January 8th at 8:30am. Calls/msgs received during this time will not be responded back to until the week we reopen. However we will be contacting our individual clients over our holidays to prebook anyone’s year that require specific days and times.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you. Just Fur Dogs wouldn’t be the successful business it is today without your support. 2025 will be my 10th year open and I can’t wait to share all the exciting things to come. From the long time clients who have been with me my entire career, to the ones we’ve just met this year, and everyone in between…THANK YOU!

The 1st annual Wendel’s Warm Paws For The Holidays event was a huge success yesterday. We were able to connect with people at shelters and encampments with the supplies needed to get them through the winter. I was joined by 2 vets and a vet tech from St. Lawrence Veterinary Services who donated their time and answered any general questions that their owners had. In addition to that they gave out flea and tick preventative medicine to each and every dog.
It was heartwarming yet heartbreaking at the same time. Seeing the living situation that some people have been forced to live in because of the hub closures really opened our eyes to how much support is still needed.

A huge thank you to all of you for the support in this cause that meant so much to me. For the clients, friends, family and complete strangers that dropped of items to the vet clinic. To the people and business that made cash donations. We were able to raise a grand total of $767.35 which has gone towards purchasing raised cots, warm beds and coats/sweaters. To REN'S PETS for facilitating Annette and I at a nail event in which they donated back 100% of the $140 raised to Wendel’s Warm Paws. Also for all the food and treats. They loaded my SUV up twice! For one of my dear clients at BeepureBeehealthy Candles for donating her sales up until December 10th to this event which totalled just over $150! For all the shelter staff that told me what pets were out there, especially the ones that helped get us to the encampments. You guys are the true rockstars! And to anyone else I may have missed. I couldn’t have done this without all of you!

For anyone still wanted to donate any items I will always be accepting items of need for the homeless community with pets, and can drop them off to the shelters/encampements at any time.

From the bottom of my heart, and all the hearts of the people and animals that you helped…..

Today, myself along with two vets, a vet tech from St. Lawrence Veterinary Services and Santa himself hit the streets in support of our homeless population with animals.

Thats a wrap for bookings! We are fully booked for the rest of this year! Please keep this in mind if you forget about your appointment or if you have to move your appointment to a different day. Rebooks will be moved to the new year. I will still be offering a cancellation list for anyone who wants in before Christmas, but unfortunately there’s no promises.
