Just a friendly reminder that I’m back on holidays next week, however Annette will still be in the salon on Wednesday and Thursday! She still has openings on both days if you’d like to book with her. She will also be returning any msgs received while I am off.

Also, prebook with Annette during the month of August and September and receive $5 off your first appointment with her (nail appointments not included). For anyone who has already been seen by Annette, a $5 credit has been applied to your next visit 😉

Happy Monday everyone!!

I am back in the salon today, and will start getting to my msgs tomorrow. Please know that along with a fully booked week of appointments, I also have a new employee starting on Thursday that I need to prepare for as well as about 15 msgs to return from my holidays.

Here I grow……..!!

Everyone meet Annette, and her dog Remi!

11 years ago when I first became a groomer I worked with Annette. She is a groomer with 5 years experience and a long time trusted friend. I’m excited to announce that she will be working for me grooming her own appointments every Wednesday and Thursday starting on Thursday July 25th! This will open up more spots as I am currently booking into the end of August.
***please know this has no impact on my already prebooked appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays, UNLESS I speak directly to you about moving your dog to Annette***

This is going to be a huge help to me. As most of you know my back is getting worse and it’s becoming more difficult for me to handle bigger dogs. As previously stated I had stopped taking on any doodle breeds or dogs over 40lbs. With Annette joining Just Fur Dogs she will be able to take on those dogs or help me where I am struggling in other areas.

When I opened Just Fur Dogs almost 10 years ago I wanted to focus on dogs who didn’t necessarily like the grooming process, and to have a stress free environment for my clients. That will always be my priority and my promise to you. Annette will be grooming one on one just like I am and will be following my believes on how dogs should be treated when in my care. For clients that I’m rehabbing please know going forward that private one on one appointments will still be available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. If you have appointments booked on a Wednesday or Thursday and would like to move to my private days please let me know asap so I can accommodate that change.

I am very confident that Annette will fit in perfectly at Just Fur Dogs, and that this next step is just the beginning of even greater things here in the salon.

To book with Annette please still call/txt the salon number or reach out on the salon social media platforms. Her hours will be 9:30-4:30 and is taking appointments immediately. Her first opening is July 31st at 9:30am!

Just a friendly reminder that I’ll be closed again next week. Calls/msgs received between July 13th and July 21st will not be returned until the week I reopen.
If you have an appointment with me on July 22nd and need to make any changes to it, please do so before I close tomorrow at 4:30 as msgs are not checked or returned while I’m on holidays.

I do have a handful of clients to get back to regarding rebooking of their appointments. I will get to you before I close tomorrow. For anyone else that needs to prebook an appointment please contact me before I close tomorrow at 4:30.
At this time my first appointment is on August 1st, with only a couple openings at the beginning of the month. Majority of my availability isn’t until the end of August.

I will be closing for one week each month right up until September. I will be closed next week, open for 3 weeks, then closed again for another week…and so on until the week of September 15th (my last week closed)
With this said I will book up faster these months than usual. As it is I’m almost fully booked for July.

ATTENTION - PLEASE READ

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend - I know I am 😁
I just wanted to update everyone as to when I’m booking currently. As of now, my next opening is on July 2nd. With that said, nail appointments can still be added into my days before that. However, for baths or haircuts I’m now booking into July.

If your dog does not have an appointment booked, or if you don’t have a couple spots in advance booked I highly suggest doing so asap. With the warmer months here I will only keep booking up further.
For new clients coming on, please know I am no longer accepting any new dogs over 40lbs.

ATTENTION CLIENTS WHO STILL NEED THEIR YEAR OF APPOINTMENTS BOOKED…

Tomorrow I will be closed and not physically in the salon. I will be taking an “office” day at home to catch up on the prebooking I have got so behind on. For some reason this year I’m feeling very overwhelmed with all the changes in drop off/pick up procedures, returning msgs, prebooking appointments and full days in the salon with already booked clients. I apologize for the delay to anyone I have not got to yet. If we have not spoke and confirmed dates with you, please either comment on this post with your preferences (day of week with a back up day of the week and if you prefer morning or afternoon) or private msg me on this page, or send me a text with the information.
I will respond back TOMORROW when I’m ready to book your specific dog(s). I will be doing this during my regular business hours.
Please know that tomorrow is SOLELY to catch up on prebooking clients years worth of appointments. All other questions will be returned once I’m physically back in the salon later this week.

Good morning everyone!

Since moving the salon to the vet clinic 4 years ago I’ve become relaxed on having clients fill out my contracts. The contracts go over policies and procedures as well as gives me updated health info for your dog, and updated contact info for you. Over the next little bit I will be resuming that again with everyone. When you arrive at drop off I will review the contract with you. Please have this returned to me when you pick up your dog. I must have it back before I will see your dog again. You will also receive a copy to take home with you.

If you have any questions or concerns about what’s on/in the contract, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Also thank you for your patience on returning msgs from over my holidays, I will get to everyone this week.

And that’s a wrap!!

The salon is now closed for Christmas holidays and will not reopen until Wednesday January 3rd at 8:30am. Calls/msgs will not be answered until the week I reopen.
I will be contacting most of you during that time to go over and book next years appointments.

As I enter into my NINETH (wow!) year of having the salon, I can’t help but reflect back on how I got here. It’s because of your support and recommendations to your friends and family that has me going strong for yet another year. I can’t thank you all enough. Currently I’m down to having only 7 appointments available for the remainder of this year. All of those spots are for next week. After that I am FULLY BOOKED for the rest of this year. This also means I have no flexibility to move/adjust your current Christmas appointments, so please make sure now that your appointment spot still works for you.

Only 6 more working weeks till Christmas and I’m down to approximately 12 openings for the remainder of this year! If you have not yet booked your Christmas visit, please do so ASAP! Appointments available November 13 - December 8th (Monday - Friday). This is for EXISTING CLIENTS ONLY. New clients will be put on a wait list and contacted in order if cancellations happen.

Also, effective November 13th I will be offering Christmas photos for only $10 (per dog). Let me know at drop off if you’d like one of these adorable keepsakes.
