BURBROOK IS HIRING 🐴
We continue to look for *both* full-time and part-time barn staff who are interested in contributing to the care and maintenance of quality horses in a family owned and operated facility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: daily chores such as turn-in/turn-out of 20 horses, mucking out, blanketing, booting, feeding according to individual dietary requirements, and administering first aid and medications when necessary. Examples of other tasks may include grounds maintenance (e.g. watering sand rings, mowing, raking) and preparing the grounds to host shows. This position is a great opportunity for someone who has experience around horses, is reliable, has customer service skills and is a self-starter. Wages are competitive.

A barn favorite, Harley is a been there, done that, 17h warmblood cross gelding with a teddy bear personality. He is hunter through and through.

Harley is suitable for an experienced junior coming off a pony, someone ready to compete in the Children’s or Trillium division, or an adult.
Auto changes, forgiving, he is easy to ride and loves to hack.

Lease price negotiable to the right rider while his owner is away at school but lessons will be required with an approved coach. Fully shod.

Burbrook Equestrian is proud to be hosting a clinic with Lauren Hayes May 6th/7th.

Lauren competed for Canada twice at the North American Youth Riders Championships and is now an accomplished Grand Prix rider with notable results at competitions across North America, including Major League and WEF.

Lauren currently runs North Ridge along with her father, 2 time olympian Jay Hayes, with locations in Ontario and Florida where she runs successful coaching and training programs.

2007, 17h, warmblood gelding for *lease* (new!)

“Zoom” is a barn favourite. He is easy to handle with a sweetheart temperament — and a sense of humor — who is the same at home and at shows. His show record in the hunter ring is extensive and he is a proven hack winner with the right rider.

Zoom has shown up to 3’, most recently showing in the 2’6 ring with a junior. Honest to fences, he puts effort into every jump and is a gorgeous mover.

He likes to work and does best in a full time program. He has been ridden by an adult and by junior riders more recently. Outside of the show ring he loves long trail rides.
