Proud of this handsome spritely boy! Hardoo Parking enjoyed his second win in a row at Kawartha. Today "Parker" having the day off to chill in the field with his buddy Milo. This guy has a huge heart!

This is Bamboo, a gilt from last year's litter, all grown up! She is registered with the AKKPS which proves her parentage with DNA. This is one way to keep this special breed around. Rare breeds can be easily lost through random crossbreeding. Purebreds of any livestock need stewardship or risk disappearing forever. We don't need to register all our pigs, but the ones that may be used for breeding purposes definitely are!

Amanda, food grower, groundskeeper, photographer, home chef, horse helper (has been seen to ride and jog an occasional horse), mom, and day time med lab technologist.

Together we keep it all going, with lots of help from our families and friends!

Cosmos comes from the Greek word "Kosmos" meaning ordered harmony or harmony in the heavens. This whimsical flower is one of my favourites as it is resilient and hardy and blooms until frost. And it has no pests! I also think Kosmos would be a good name for a racehorse!

Sevenstars Ruby Jubilee (Jubie) our hard working farm dog, and her half sister Wren (owned by Veronica Pelot) showing off their ribbons from the Kingston kennel club. They both did great in the German Shorthair Pointer classes and enjoyed some dock diving afterwards! Simone skillfully piloted Jubilee to her ribbons!
