Just a heads-up — we will be CLOSED tomorrow, July 1st for the holiday and will reopen with regular hours on Wednesday, July 2nd.

While you’re enjoying the celebrations, don’t forget: fireworks can be frightening for our furry friends! 🎆🐾

Here are a few firework safety tips to help keep your pets calm and safe:

🔒 Keep pets indoors – Close windows and doors to muffle sound.
📺 Create a cozy space – Turn on the TV or soft music to drown out noise.
🆔 Double-check ID tags & microchips – Just in case they panic and run.
🐶 Stay calm – Your pet takes cues from you. Reassure them with gentle words and snuggles.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday! ❤️🐶🐱

✂️🐾 Thinking of Trimming Your Pet’s Nails at Home? Read This First! 🐶🐱

Nail trims may not be your pet’s favorite activity—but they’re super important for their health and comfort! Long nails can cause pain, joint issues, or even lead to injuries. 😿🐾

If you're planning to trim your pet’s nails at home, here are a few vet-approved tips to make the process easier and safer:

✅ Use the right tools – A pet-specific nail clipper or grinder is a must!
✅ Take it slow – Trim a little at a time and reward your pet after each paw.
✅ Watch for the quick – That’s the pink area inside the nail. Cutting it can hurt and bleed.
✅ Start young – Get puppies and kittens used to paw handling early on.
✅ Stay calm – Your pet can sense stress. Stay positive and patient!

🙋‍♀️ Not sure how to do it safely? No worries—we’re here to help! Our team offers gentle, stress-free nail trims and can even show you how to do it properly at home.

📞 Call us to book a trim or ask questions—we’re happy to help!

🛑 MYTH: Indoor pets don’t need vaccines.
✅ TRUTH: They still need protection from preventable diseases.

Just because your cat or dog stays indoors doesn’t mean they’re completely safe from illness. Here’s why:

🦠 Airborne viruses like feline calicivirus or canine influenza can travel through windows, doors, or ventilation.
🦟 Mosquitoes (yes, even indoors!) can spread heartworm.
🧤 You can unknowingly bring germs in on your shoes, clothes, or hands.
🚪 Accidents happen — a quick dash out the door or an emergency evacuation can expose your pet to serious risks.
🏥 And if your pet ever needs to be boarded, groomed, or hospitalized, vaccines are often required for everyone’s safety.

💉 Vaccines protect against dangerous, often deadly diseases — and they’re a key part of a long, healthy life for your pet.

📅 Not sure what your pet needs? We’re happy to help! Call us to book an appointment and we’ll put together the right vaccine plan for your pet’s lifestyle.
