Meanwhile @ Camp part 3 | Deja qualified for her novice trick title from Do More With Your Dog! She took a break from working on tricks about 1/2 way through, so, I was thrilled when she chose to start training again and nailed these tricks.

Meanwhile, @ Camp | RUDY qualified for his novice tricks title!!!!!!!!! This was my fave behavior to work on with him. He offered that paw from moment one and could barely sit still everytime we worked on it ❤️❤️

OMG another…meanwhile @ Camp | Congrats to Zoe Zoe for earning her Novice Tricks Title from Do More With Your Dog! while at Camp. This was no small feat for the lil’ lady as she also had to overcome a few fears and apprehensions in order to earn her title !!!!

ALSO meanwhile at Camp | Not wanting to be outdone by puphood chum, Buzz, SIF (Siffer Nugget Bug to his Camp friends,) also earned his Novice Tricks Title from Do More With Your Dog! while attending Camp. So proud of you big dude❤️❤️.

When asked for a comment, his sister, Estus, said, ‘hurrumphhh.’

Meanwhile @ Camp! BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ triumphantly earned his spot in the history book, by earning his Novice Tricks Title from Do More With Your Dog! while attending Camp.

He completed his last trick while saying, ‘can a tiny baby human do all of that?? I think not!’ ❤️❤️❤️

ANNOUNCEMENT | First things first, no matter what, for as long as I am able, I will continue to provide assistance for canine behavioral issues. In fact, as a tribute to my love to these wonderful beings, on August 23rd, 2024, my services will be offered pro bono (details etc to be announced at a later time.)

Last year, the MMCSC camper’s behavior towards me changed. Social greeting behaviors were swapped with health check/wellness behaviors. The pups were letting me know that something in my body wasn’t well…and they were right.

Since January of this year, I’ve searched for answers, cures, and heck, even magic potions to thwart this devastating diagnosis. While there are still many more stones to turn over, I find myself feeling more and more like Captain Hook; haunted by the ticking of a clock I can not stop and which creeps steadily closer.

I have spent the better part of 20 years working in service to and advocating for fluff butts. Along the way, something miraculous happened…It was you. On a daily basis, you welcome me into your lives; your homes. We laugh and cry and fu***ng curse about our lives spent in service to beloved fluffernutters. You fill my heart with everything. All day. Every day.

But, of each and every one of you….I am plain and simply fu***ng proud. You are ferocious floofer advocates. You ask mindful, dog first questions. You don’t just believe that luv is the answer. You challenge terrible advice & practices, demanding better from all canine professionals. (Which subsequently makes me feel like Wayne & Garth meeting Alice Cooper in ‘Wayne’s World,’ who drop to their knees screaming ‘we’re not worthy. We’re not worthy.’)

Thank you for your trust, support, friendship, and for standing shoulder to shoulder with me these last 1,000,000 years. As a thank you, I’m creating an enormous online library filled with enrichment activities, training tips, and filmed versions of every single class I’ve ever taught….to access for free. I’ll be available for questions of any kind or floofer vent sessions via text, phone, or video chat.

In the coming months, I’ll be providing you with contact info for your pup’s friends and other canine care providers. For in person training, behavior, & at home curated enrichment, look no further than my brilliant colleague, Amanda, owner of Classical Canine. ❤️

There is so much more I want to say, but, you have pup bellies to rub. So, in the words of all these wise fluff butts: head turn, lip lick > avert gaze > slow stretch > quick glance up > lip lick > Yawn > quick glance > BIG HUGE FLOOFIN TAIL WAG > face lick, face lick, face lick.
