We are proud to be providing you with pet health care for every stage of your pet’s life at our new location opened in October 2019 in Kirkland, QC. DVM

Volunteering in shelters is what sparked my passion to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a vet. For as long as I can remember, I have loved animals. As a child, I used to visit the local SPCA and would just long to bring them all home. In my

late teens, I started volunteering at the Montreal SPCA and went as often as my studies would allow while completing my biology degree at Concordia University. I had the privilege of volunteering at the Vancouver SPCA, which was also an animal hospital. There, I worked closely with the vet technicians and got the opportunity to see a multitude of cases. I knew this was what I wanted to do. Shortly after, I was accepted into the veterinary program at Université de Montréal. I graduated in 1994 and I have been doing house calls since 1998. Doing home visits gave me the opportunity to balance my career with my family life. My practice grew gradually over the years as I worked strictly by referrals. Now, my kids are all grown up and I still love what I do. In my spare time, I am becoming involved with my original passion and I am a member of a new veterinary association focused on shelter medicine. I have been going to seminars and blogging on the subject.

Jacob a été adopté par un refuge pour lévriers en 2015. Ce communiqué est publié en honneur de nos animaux de compagnie âgés, du passé et du présent. L'objectif du Mois des animaux âgés est de sensibiliser à des besoins changeants de nos animaux de compagnie vieillissants.

Jacob was adopted from a Greyhound rescue in 2015. This post is in honor of our senior pets, past and present. The goal of Senior Pet Month is to raise awareness of the changing needs of our aging pets.

Nos animaux de compagnie âgés sont devenus plus sages et plus gris avec nous et sont des membres de la famille que nous adorons de tout notre cœur. À mesure qu'ils vieillissent, leurs besoins changent et c'est à nous de veiller à ce que leur âge d'or soit le meilleur possible.

November is National Senior Pet Month! During the next few weeks, we will be highlighting the Importance of Senior Pet Health. Our senior pets have grown wiser and grayer with us and are family members we cherish with all our hearts. As they grow older, their needs change and it's our job to ensure their golden years are the best they can be.

Le mois d'octobre a été bien rempli et quelle belle façon de célébrer notre 5e anniversaire. La clinique a ouvert ses portes en octobre 2019. L'équipe s'est rendue à un labyrinthe de maïs hanté pour l'Halloween et nous avons fait un tirage au sort pour Halloween. Nous avons fait du bénévolat pour stériliser des chats sauvages pour un refuge et c'était la semaine des techniciens vétérinaires du 13 au 19 octobre. Nos représentants Hill's et Purina nous ont gâtés en offrant des cadeaux aux techniciens.

October was a busy month and what a nice way to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The clinic opened its doors in October 2019. The team went to a Halloween Haunted Corn Maze and we had a Halloween draw. We volunteered some time to sterilize feral cats for a rescue group and it was Vet Tech week from October 13-19. Our Hill's and Purina reps spoiled us with some goodies for the technicians.
