I don’t usually make New Year’s resolutions, but my partner and I have a tradition: we save three favorite photos each month and review them together on January 1st.
2024 was a tough year.
The quote, “The horrors persist, but so do we,” stayed with me on repeat.
As a business owner, there’s always planning and reports to tackle as we enter a new year - but that can wait. For now, I will enjoy my photo recap of moments of joy in 2024. It felt only fitting that I create an Arlo & Company-specific photo recap of all the amazing animals I have been honoured to care for this year. I am sitting with the awe and gratitide that 3 photos simply can’t capture them all.
If I were to have a resolution for 2025, Id’ say: to regularly acknowledge how wonderful it is just to be here. Doing a job that I love so deeply.
