Isn’t she stunning!!!! her name is Diana, this beautiful girl is also a mama however she is positive for FIV, which is no biggie. Since Angus has been adopted and Angus can show signs of being feisty I wasn’t able to put Diana in the kitty lounge however, now that Angus has been officially adopted. Diana is loving the kitty lounge making new friends. it is important to know that FIV positive cats can live with other FIV negative cats as long as there’s no drama. FIV is only transferred through deep wound bites, causing blood, and Diana is far from feisty. She is a headbutting, loving girl.

Every time I bring a retired mama cat to get spayed, I get a serious case of the warm and fuzzies knowing those beautiful ladies will never have to be pregnant more times than a Kardashian, 3 to 4 times a year for the next 15 years they can finally just chill and be a cat, no more baby mama drama, just lounging around in their new pads, living their best lives, and I'm over here thinking, yeah, they deserve it, six beautiful mamas got the full spa treatment today
all these beautiful mamas will be available for adoption once they recover from their surgery.

Sapphire, the beautiful ball of fluff on the left, was a feral mama who took over a year to decide humans weren't so bad after all - it's taken her that long to accept even the smallest touch, but now she's a total pet-loving diva. For the first four months at the facility, you couldn't even glance in her direction without her going all Exorcist on you, but luckily she's grown into a stunning kitty who's got the indoor living thing down pat - and Mr. Hank will be right by her side. Mr. Hank, the handsome dude on the right, showed up a few months ago looking like he'd been through a war, but these two crazy kids have found their purrfect happily ever after - together!

3 new faces have arrived at the Kitchener stray cat rescue facility. It takes a team to save lives every day. These precious babies were transported from out of town to our facility because every rescue is currently operating at maximum capacity. It is challenging to decline assistance, saying "I'm sorry, we are full. Please try contacting another rescue," but my heart aches knowing the vast number of babies and cats suffering outside as the weather grows colder. The operational costs of running a facility are substantial, and the added expense of veterinary bills and emergency care is overwhelming. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, our mission to save lives is the driving force behind our efforts.

Angus has ultimately found his forever home, rising above adversity. This courageous nine-year-old boy arrived at Kitchener stray cat rescue as a surrender due to his mom's illness. Angus navigated a tumultuous journey, experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions. Initially, he was fine, but soon exhibited aggression and signs of depression, ceasing to eat. Yet, the more love and affection he received, the safer he felt. It warms my heart to acknowledge that Angus has overcome his depression, recognizing he is in compassionate hands and deeply loved. Tears of joy flowed the day he left for his new journey, a testament to the extraordinary love this remarkable boy embodies. ❤️
We will miss you, Angus ❤️

Volunteering at Kitchener stray cat rescue is a real purr-k because not only do you get to help homeless cats, but you also get first dibs on adopting kittens before they become social media stars. This little girl is getting cozy with Christine, one of our rockstar volunteers, who's also a master auction manager. So, if you're ready to join the rescue crew, just shoot us an email - we're looking for some cleaning superheroes to help out during the week. Don't worry, we'll fill you in on the deets once you email us.
Frankie is off to a ridiculously fearless start in life, because what's a little eyeball removal when you're a cyclops in training? 🤪Currently in quarantine, this little ball of fluff is embodying resilience with her appetite and ridiculously joyful spirit. Welcome to a brighter future, sweet one, where you'll be smothered in love and care here at Kitchener stray cat rescue facility. Once she's done with her upper respiratory infection antibiotics, it's time to get this eyeball removal party started. If you would like to sponsor a little Frankie at just shy of 9 weeks old you can do so by sending an email to [email protected] any donations $25 and over, please specify in the subject that you would like a tax receipt.

Hi Everyone, welcome to my page! My name is Tammy, I am happily married with 4 children, I have always done rescues as far back as when I was 7 yrs old :)
I was that child who brought home all the stray animals, my heart still is the same when I see an abandon animal. As much as I would love to save them all ,it is impossible. Over 2000 kittens are born outside every year in Kitchener, only less then half are rescued and the rest have to get ready for the cold winter, sadly most of these kittens dont make it through the winter due to no water, no food or just freezing to death. A lot of cats are being dumped in this city for whatever reason, they were once loved domestic cats and they have a really hard time surviving in the big world and preparing themselves for a cold winter that they never been through.
I want to save as many cats and kittens off the streets that I can. I have a huge support group at home! My family is my life! and cats ;)
I created this group so the cats that I rescue off the streets can find a forever homes and also cats that have been surrendered that will need a new home.
If you are missing your cat and are checking my page out in hopes that I rescued your furbaby please also contact Lost Paws Inc on facebook they are an incredible group that help reunite lost animals with their families.
