Meet Jack (the dog not me). Jack is an attention seeking that uses his bark for every form of communication whether it’s alerting mom and dad that there is a squirrel or he wants a cookie. We are working hard helping him understand that it’s not always about what he wants especially when running outside every 3 minutes! #

Meet phoebe! This big girl has a bit of reactivity when it comes to strangers and showing a bit of aggression with her sister. The whole family is doing their part to get rid of this behaviour, not only to correct her when she is acting up but protecting her when she feels there is danger!

Meet Mecca. Mecca is a bit of a nervous reactive dog that feels he has to protect mom and displays some separation anxiety and fear reactivity. Our goal here is to create a safe place that Mecca can feel relaxed and help him understand mom is the leader! Great first lesson and can’t wait for the next!

Meet Harley. I was called out due to Harley being reactive on the leash to other dogs and sometimes aggressive to people. Thankfully mom and dad have a good grasp of leadership and they are working hard towards getting him to calm down and have a great walk!

Meet Paco. He had a rough start to his life coming from the streets of Turkey. You can almost see the pain I. The poor fellas eyes. Having aggression towards other dogs and even sent mom to the hospital trying to protect his food. So now we work hard on building trust up with his new family and prove that mom and dad can protect him now! With hard work and time, this sweet boy will be the best dog we all know he can be.

Meet Annie! Although Annie is getting in her mature years, she’s showing a bit of separation anxiety due to lifestyle changes. Other than the separation she is such a great dog so mom and dad are working hard on getting that leadership back so she doesn’t feel she has to protect over the pack!

🐶📚 Dogs are amazing learners! 🧠 They have this incredible ability to make connections between their actions and the outcomes that follow. 🤝🏼 For example, if a dog barks at a mail carrier who then walks away, the dog might think that its barking was the reason the mail carrier left. 📭🏃‍♂️ This little misunderstanding can sometimes lead to unwanted behaviors like aggression or more barking!😬
👨‍🏫 But fear not! 🎉💪 Better Dog customers understand how we can help our dogs replace unwanted behaviours with those we want to see more of, and ultimately build a strong bond of trust and communication. 🤝💖

Meet Louie! This little fella had extreme anxiety when people came over. I couldn’t even get in the door, so we made a plan! Giving Louie a safe place along side great leadership and now mom and dad are able to have family and friends over without going to battle with his anxiety! Great work mom and dad!

Meet Leo! This little charmer definitely uses his adorable status to get what he wants from mom and dad. He demands a lot of attention and gets very anxious about certain things. Thankfully mom and dad are getting a good grasp on how to communicate with him to show him the leadership he needs!

Meet Ella. She’s a beautiful boxer that has a lot of excitement when meeting new guests. Bit of reactivity when meeting new dogs but nothing that mom can’t handle when showing her strong leadership. First lesson we work on foundation, second lesson we fine tune any other problems that come up that might not have been displayed. Look at this adorable pup Tiko. He’s a 2 year old Morkie that has a bit of attitude when it comes to demanding attention and a bit of potty issues. Mom and dad are on the right track to giving him the structure he needs. Potty training can be the easiest and hardest thing to train on as it take a lot of consistency!

What a little charmer Enzo is. He loves attention, and definitely uses his voice to let you know. Mom and dad are working hard to get him to not bark so much that drives the neighbours crazy!

All smiles from Loonie with some hard work she’s doing great with her separation anxiety. Separation anxiety is so common with dogs after Covid, but with consistency and leadership we can get them past it!

Was all play and excitement for ViVi after a great lesson with resource guarding and barking for attention. Strong leadership creates a great bond that dogs crave and she was so excited for play time!

Meet Lil Root. Mom and Dad are working very hard on giving him great leadership as hes a bit timid and protecting and wanting to keep his pack close to him at all times. With a smile like this how can you not love him?!
