Do you bring your dog to the US? If so, you may have heard about the upcoming changes to the requirements for bringing a dog across the border.
There have been some updates in the information the CDC originally announced. Please read through the following graphic and visit the CDC website for further information.
Please note that the rabies vaccine is required for your pet to return to Canada. If your dog has been vaccinated by one of our veterinarians, and is up to date, we are happy to send you a vaccine certificate to take with you on your trip. Please allow for at least one business day for us to prepare this document for you.
If your pet is not microchipped, we are currently offering a promotion for microchipping, until August 15th. Your pet can get a microchip and a nail trim with one of our technicians for just $50 plus taxes!

After diagnosis, Kiah underwent weekly rehabilitation appointments with our certified rehabilitation technician, Morgan! Her appointments consisted of underwater treadmill and laser therapy. Cats can do rehabilitation too! Many people are surprised by this, but cats can be just as successful as dogs in doing therapeutic exercises and even hydrotherapy! The trick is finding the right motivation and lots of patience. For Tigger, he LOVED to be brushed. So he was rewarded with brushing after every exercise. Meet Charlie! Charlie previously had hip surgery and has been coming for rehab to strengthen his hind legs. You can see he’s showing off his talent with an advanced exercise and is willing to do just about anything for treats! Keep up the good work Charlie!
Meet Lilikoi! She is one of our sweet, senior patients. She has been coming weekly to see us for underwater treadmill appointments with the goals of improving mobility, strengthening hind legs and improving proprioception.
